That's what I assumed. I suppose that the European version simply had some similarities. Curious...galeatus wrote:

Re: Nondisclosed Oct waiters thread
I took the European test as well.
Red pandas, hdl/ldl, goose come to mind for LR.
Nonstop/layover, films, some sports game for the first one for games.
Woman in Mexico, biology dept, copyright, violence in media for RC.
I had an experimental LR but I remember having an "LOL" (topic of the question...) question...

How did you find the games? I was a bit short on time brute forcing my way thru the film and flight ones.

To be honest, I found the logic games fairly easy. I made a couple inferences up front for the third game and last game, you just had to brute force your way because it was rule-driven.
What do you think of LR and RC: my last LR was pretty hard and the last passage on copyright, some of the questions tripped me up...

I found RC to be alright, can't remember the exact questions but didn't have too much trouble in them.Egzon wrote:To be honest, I found the logic games fairly easy. I made a couple inferences up front for the third game and last game, you just had to brute force your way because it was rule-driven.

Second LR is quite monstrous.

Exactly what I felt like: one question about sauna and muscle tension (or some bs like that) plus some other questions were pretty tough IMO.

I had LR as my 5th section and brain fatigue made it even worse. I read the questions and my brain just couldn't put them into coherent sentences..Egzon wrote:Exactly what I felt like: one question about sauna and muscle tension (or some bs like that) plus some other questions were pretty tough IMO.

What do you think the curve will be? I didn't feel as if it was terribly hard... I'm actually happy we didn't have the same test as in the US as it seems like theirs was harder than ours.

I'm gonna say a -11.Egzon wrote:What do you think the curve will be? I didn't feel as if it was terribly hard... I'm actually happy we didn't have the same test as in the US as it seems like theirs was harder than ours.

Something like that. I took PT74 (on test day), it was about the same difficulty and the curve I think was -12, so we can hope for a -12. It's just so annoying that we don't get anything back except for our score.galeatus wrote:I'm gonna say a -11.Egzon wrote:What do you think the curve will be? Re: Nondisclosed Oct waiters thread
i also took what was apparently the "european" test (just finished a couple hours ago - in the middle east...)
am I the only one who noticed that there were 102 questions?! on disclosed tests that's only happened, like, once. december 2010. but they got a pretty generous curve (-14!) in exchange... think we'll be so lucky?
LG - pretty easy, i thought
RC - any thoughts on which was legit? I remember them both being pretty standard...
LR - the muscle tension one was in fact weird - i ended up going back to it twice. also something about harvesting electrical power from waves threw me a bit...

There were definitely some tricky questions on LR: pretty sure I got the muscle tension one wrong.ltbenn wrote:i also took what was apparently the "european" test (just finished a couple hours ago - in the middle east...)

Real RC was copyright, violence in media, woman in mexico, biology.
And yes, there were 102 questions so hopefully the curve will take that into consideration.

Re: Nondisclosed Oct waiters thread
Thank god. I did a lot worse in the experimental RC than the real one, probably because of brain fade.Egzon wrote:There were definitely some tricky questions on LR: pretty sure I got the muscle tension one wrong.ltbenn wrote:i also took what was apparently the "european" test (just finished a couple hours ago - in the middle east...)
