Just working through some introductory and grammar lessons from 7Sage.

Taking the June 2007 as a diagnostic tonight; wish me luck....

Looks like I'm currently planning on a retake in December. Can't make the Oct test unfortunately due to life events. I took in June using Powerscore bibles and PTs.

My goal for Dec, is a +2 or higher from my current score and I think I mostly need to focus on LR. I know for studying I need to tighten up my habits on reviewing my answers so that I can better focus on the specific question types I'm missing.

Does anyone have a recommendation for LR materials? I think I'm going to pick up the Cambridge LR packet for drilling, but not sure what else I should look into.

154 diagnostic on the June test

.

Luckily, most of the "wrong" questions were due to running out of time versus picking the wrong answer.

This weekend, I will be employ 7sage's "blind review" method for every question and report back with a blind review score.

After that, I will review every question thoroughly.

My goal is to squeeze as much value as possible out the modern PTs as they are both a limited resource and arguable the most valuable of all test prep.

Excited to hear how everyone else is doing!

Nice! 153 here.. Want to get at least 160. I use Powetscores LG and LR bibles. I'm going by LawschoolIs 6 month schedule. On week nine now.

Looking at your diagnostic scores scares me to take mine tomorrow. Are you guys taking the diagnostic test with no prep whatsoever? I have not picked up an LSAT book. I bought them and I start next week. I will do the June 2007 diagnostic tomorrow. I don't think my score will be that good but I wont let that discourage me! lol

I've taken it once, and got a 153. My first diagnostic was a 147.

Hello everyone, just checking in! My first Diag was 152, and my last two PTS were 157. I went through all the bibles and now Im going to start drilling by question type. Are you guys going to start PTing any time soon. Maybe we could all take the same PT and review together weekly! Just keep me posted!

I am applying this cycle. I am filling out applications now, and having the scores sent immediately after the test scores are released.

On a so/so note - I was very very ill all weekend and didn't get a chance to review my not-so-good diagnostic.

Will keep everyone updated!

Welcome to the thread, Binghamton!

So, this weekend was not as productive as I had liked. I simply adjusted my study schedule a bit, so I will still be following the same "roadmap".

With that being said, I reviewed any answer I wasn't 100% about (from my first PT) and turned over the logic in my head until the solution made sense.

As far as studying, I am using:

1) A schedule provided by 7Sage as I take the online course.
2) While not taking PTs, I employ the Pomodoro Technique, as it helps me stay focused. (http://pomodorotechnique.com/). There are many Google Chrome extensions to help you implement this.
3) I am also using the "Don't Break The Chain" (http://lifehacker.com/5886128/how-seinf ... on-problem) to keep the study schedule consistent.

I found all of these recommendations in a "Doing Well In Law School" thread - I will do my best to locate it at some point.

How is everyone's prep going?

Anyone got a good way to get back into studying? I took in June, and haven't done anything other than reviewing my test when it was released since. I'm struggling with where to begin again

Ive been around 85-90% on my LR drilling, but the harder Method of Reasoning questions kicked my ass today..

Do you have any recommendations for the "Most Strongly Supported" questions? I am just starting them and struggling pretty badly.

I just finished the LR Bible! I will start PTing just the LR for a couple of weeks. So, all I have left to start studying/"learn" is LG since I've already read and finished the RC Bible and Manhattan version, and I just finished LR.

Does anyone know any good methods of memorizing all of the different LR rules? I'm thinking of writing all of the various rules in a spreadsheet, but I don't know if I have time for all of that.
