Wow, and I thought I was the only one who bought special LSAT pencils. I got a box of 30 black ticonderoga's, but now I'm thinking I might need some of the pre-sharpened ones.

Re: The Despondency Thread
I burned myself out studying too much the past couple of days. So, today I decided to put in some downtime (since I can't study anyway here at work) and dusted off my collection of Confucius quotations. I found these gems which really picked up my spirits:
Confucius wrote:Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it on the LSAT.
Confucius wrote:If a man takes no thought about what is distant, he will find sorrow near at hand on the LSAT.
Confucius wrote:Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous on the LSAT.
HTHConfucius wrote:The cautious seldom err on the LSAT.

If it helps, I never tried the black ticonderoga's but I did almost buy them. It was either those or the presharpened yellow ones. I decision was made in a staples in the middle of no where a few weeks ago and there was no looking back for me. Only you know if the black T's are adequate. I know the pre-sharpened ones are, lol.scham wrote:Wow, and I thought I was the only one who bought special LSAT pencils. Re: The Despondency Thread
Well, I had started out trying to use the garbage pencils that my niece uses for 4th grade. After throwing a fit a couple times and throwing pencils across the room in anger when the stupid lead broke for the 10th time in a row, I decided I needed to get some real pencils. So all I know is that compared to those pieces of S#%, these are a dream. I think they are adequate, plus they're black. And I've always heard that once you go black you never go back... but maybe that was for something else.abdistotle wrote:If it helps, I never tried the black ticonderoga's but I did almost buy them. Kidding aside though, I have stocked up over 50 pre-sharpened pencils and I hate pencils. Try them out. If the black ones sharpen anything like the regular yellow ones, even going black has not prevented you from missing out on something.

I thought that this thread might be the appropriate place for this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQkGn9AI8ms.

Speaking of erasers, anybody have any preferences -- pink, white, black, or otherwise?abdistotle wrote:Their erasers suck. Your avatar is mind-boggling though

Definitely white. Red/pink ones always seem to leave pink marks on the paper and it really pisses me off. Stuff like that distracts me from the test. I had to pause a timed PT to go find a new eraser last time I used a pink one, and then I kept staring at the mark for the rest of that page's questions. As to the purpose of this thread- LSAT prep resulted in my random decision last night to drive to Canada this morning. I think I'm trying to drive as far away as possible from the mountain of LSAT books in my room. I've had two LSAT nightmares back to back the last two nights. But since I'm bringing some of the books with me, not too sure how this is going to work out.
