Re: LR: stimulus or question stem first?
Reading the question first saves you time. The amount of time, mechanically, it takes you extra to find the question instead of just starting at the top is minimal - with the line breaks, it should take about a tenth of a second/question. So it takes an extra 2.5 seconds on an LR section to read the question first.sama wrote:Usually not enough time to read the question first, thats the only drawback
Then, don't re-read it; make a note of the question type.
Then, go into the stimulus actually knowing what you're looking for. Instead of wasting time thinking about things that don't matter, you can just focus on the things that do matter. Reading the prompt first gives you focus, and focus saves you time.
