thanks for the update, it's great to hear more about your testing experience. please be sure to PM me when you get your score, and update me periodically throughout law school ("torts exam went well, although a guy did sneeze behind me and, startled, i misspelled a word. i quickly corrected the mistake, however.")

I responded not because I thought you were interested in my testing experience, but, rather, because you clearly did not understand that saying one was "thrown off" by a change in the testing format does not indicate that one did poorly on the section or was unable to "handle it."

I think you'd be surprised by the number of decently smart (not brilliant, of course, but mediocre/average) people who genuinely prepare for the test and still score around 150. It's around the 50th percentile for a reason.

After a year or two of browsing TLS, this ranks in the top 3 of favorite poasts. I'll share with younger friends at my TTT undergrad who will naturally continue on to a TTT law school.

I would actually like to know the scores of people on tls because everyone talks like they got a 175 and are deciding whether or not to go to harvard.......when I doubt that even half scored over 165.

And before you ask me to post my score take a deep breath and realize its only june 25.I don't have it yet.

I taught a course with many low scorers. A lot of good people, many of whom were just not cut out for this test and probably not for this field, unfortunately. But they certainly had more character than to start a thread like this. Clicked on it thinking it might be a genuine question regarding the causes of low scoring. Nope.

In all honesty though this thread is douchey and reflects a lot of what is worst about TLS.

My post was me seizing an opportunity to be funny, but it was a douchey type of funny and for that I apologize.
