Figure the third one was the expirimental. It had two questions out of the first 8 that were "complete the paragraph". Had never seen that before. Cant imagine it was real.....

If it is true that the exp is in the first 3 wouldn't this mean that my exp HAD to be my 1st LR if there are 101 questions. This would make me VERY HAPPY. Please let me know what y'all think.

The REAL LG had bikes and countries....two other "things" that I can't remember....I think parking spaces.

Did you independently verify that section 1 of Lr was real and 3 was experimental or did you gather that from this thread? (I'm in the same situation as you. Crushed sec 1 and 4, bombed the 3rd LR)

I am praying to god 1 was the experimental as I think I bombed it. They had us sitting around for 45 minutes dealing with administrative shit and waiting and it totally threw me off. All that time waiting and thinking just upped the stress and pressure. LG 2 gave me my confidence back and I did good on LR 3. Than that break for some reason just totally relaxed me and I owned LR 4. RC 5 was iffy that Dostoevsky passage took me a lot longer than it should have and I was pressured for time at the end.

^^^^ That sums up my test day exactly. I was really surprised how hard the very first question of LR section 1 was. I was like "welp, i'm screwed" ...but as time went on I improved.

Had anyone figured out conclusively yet whether LR 1 or LR 3 was experimental? 1 seemed way too god damn hard. That section pissed me off.

So what was the real LR? The real RC had a passage on criminal prosecution about adding the "economic principle" to it.

Yes, people did, meaning the LR sections HAVE to be 25 and 26.

Dude, I had a logic games 1st section then LR then another Logic games on the 3rd section. I GOT RAPED by the 3rd section one. Overall I think I did very well on the rest of the test but that 3rd section. Soon found out it was experimental. WIN

I knew it was experimental while taking it; it was nothing like the last 10 games at all.

OMG this was exactly what I needed to read, thank you SO FREAKIN' MUCH. I'm like you, I kind of knew it was experimental during that section because of game 4 but I was still worried that it might not be - I had skipped game 3 as I could see right away it would suck up a lot of time for me, only to get to game 4 and be so gobsmacked by that particular hypo that I actually sat there dumbfounded for a good one to two minutes (and this was after quadruple-checking it to make sure that LSAC had just done what I thought they did). And then for every question I had to keep reminding myself to disregard that hypo for my answers. Ironically I actually think I got all of the questions on it right, but...wow is all I can say. Just when you think there isn't a way for them to complicate hypos any more they find a way to do it. Let's just say I feel for the future LSAT takers who end up with that humdinger when they decide to officially roll that type of thing out.

wouldn't that mean that there were 2 different LR experimental sections? a 26 question and a 25 question one. Would they do that?

I had a LR section with that; they were pretty much like "which of the following statements would most logically complete the passage" or something like that, right? I remember finding that unusual as well, though it's not so much because I found them hard but because it reminded me a bit of something you'd see on a much older PT. Don't think I've seen that type of question much, if at all, on any recent PTs that I'd taken.

I think, but am not 100% certain, that this is the LR section that I found harder as well. I know one of my LR sections had 26 questions. I think the other had 25 but I'm not sure. I'm still in semi-blackout mode.

I found the first and fourth LR great. Bombed third LR. It had really long passages, and just fairly poorly written. One question, with answers, took up half a page! I AM HOPING THIS IS THE EXPERIMENTAL!

Can anybody provide input? Please, if you or don't remember having a LR question that was extremely long, half a page, and asked about a legal opinion, and only had two LRs, PLEASE SAY SOMETHING.

So depressed after that ridiculous LG section and the last RC passage Thinking about retaking in December now, but the closest test site is already full. any chance LSAC will put me on a waiting list for the closer test site... I really dont want to have to drive 2 hours to the other site.
