Second LSAT: 173 (fucking burnout from taking 2+ PT's a day because I only had 1 month to study for the retake)

I also spent 2 hours skimming the a Princeton Review book prior to that PT, but yes. It was before I discovered TLS and it was a dumbass mistake born from (1) being cocky, and (2) the fact that I didn't study for the SAT.Br3v wrote:you went into your first LSAT cold except for one pt?

Re: What was your first score?
I actually took my first PT for fun... and several after that before I decided to really study just in case I maybe actually decided to take the real thing.
Come to think of it... I'm not really planning on going to law school (unless I get a 180, in which case, I'll figure it was destiny and will apply right away!
) so I guess you could say I took the real one for fun too - and it actually was a lot of fun.
Yes, I'm weird, I know.
Anyway -
My first PT w/o having any clue what the LSAT was about: 168
My highest PT so far: 178
Average PT score: 170 - 174
We'll see what I got on the real thing. I'm fairly certain I got a 170+, because even when I bomb a test or run out of time on one or two sections, I still manage to pull out a 168-170. And I neither bombed nor ran out of time on any of the sections at the real thing, so I'll be shocked if I got lower than a 170. I felt like I did really well on everything so I'm thinking it will probably be higher rather than lower... but we'll see. =)

For the people who had diagnostic scores in the 170's,
First, that is freaking amazing. Second, how did you do so good on LG on the first try? On my first LG I just sort of stared at it for 35 minutes. How did you perform well on LG before learning how to diagram?

Re: What was your first score?
I did okay on my LG on my diagnostic. Diagramming came pretty natural to me so I did it on the diagnostic automatically, though I do like doing logic puzzles, sudoku, and things like that so maybe that's why.mandolin wrote:For the people who had diagnostic scores in the 170's,
