Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
What version of Excel do you need to run the macros? I've got the 2007 version for Mac and it wouldn't let me open it with macros active.

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Many of the macros I used are Windows-ActiveX Macros. Unfortunately, this makes the spreadsheet exclusive to windows. The alternative was to use form control macros, which I attempted. It turns out that these macros make everything run like crap.db616 wrote:What version of Excel do you need to run the macros? Sorry. The spreadsheet doesn't support macs at this time

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
I've updated the original post with a Mac version. You might be able to load the spreadsheet now. Give it a shot.db616 wrote:Bummer
If it doesn't work, please let me know what error you get. I don't have a mac of my own to test this on.

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Still the same error message. It won't load the macros because they're done with Visual Basic and Excel 2007 for mac doesn't support VBA. I read that Excel 2011 for Mac does, so I might try to update.
Thanks for trying!

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Just noticed a small error. On prep test 46, 73 should be equal to a 157, but it turns up a 158.

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Thank you. Corrected and uploaded updated version. You can use the import/export feature to load your data onto the new version.*Ari* wrote:Just noticed a small error. On prep test 46, 73 should be equal to a 157, but it turns up a 158.
Anyway, I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to put together the manual. I promise I'll get to it eventually.

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Great job! This spreadsheet looks 100x better than the one I was creating today, but I can't seem to get the document opened up from the links provided. Is there another link that this is on now, or is there a file you could send me? This looks like something I need...

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Hey is anyone having trouble downloading the spreadsheet? I've used Mozilla and gotten a blank page when I click the download link on Google Docs, while Internet Explorer loads to an error on the page message when I click the Google docs download link.
Any help would be appreciated, or I can PM my email so someone can send it as an attachment.

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
That's odd. It's working for me on IE. I found another host last week that doesn't charge. I'll try that.
PM me with your email if you want me to send you a copy in the meantime.
Thanks

Try this new link (also in OP) and let me know if it works. You have to select "slow download" if you're not a filesonic member.

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Just updated the OP with a link to the rough-draft version of the instructions.

I haven't gotten around to polishing it yet.
Also updated OP with a new version of the spreadsheet (fixed a few typos here and there).

Re: 3link's LSAT Preparation Spreadsheet
Awesome beyond words. One small error I noticed: PT 29 RC actually has 27 questions, not 26. The spreadsheet gives a slightly lower scaled score because of that error.

Wow. Never thought this'd get sticked. Thanks ATL.
I'll have to update the spreadsheet to include PT 63 today. I'll post an update when that's done.
