Re: PDFs out!
-Got a -3 on the last logic game, missed all 3 questions I had to guess because I ran out of time. Had gotten 6 straight -0 sub-30 minute LG sections.
-Missed the last 3 questions on the test. Knowing that getting 0/3 or 2/3 on those last 3 questions is the difference between my score (168) and my goal (170, also the median of UVa, GTown, Duke, etc) is killing me.
-Also, the Shakespeare question officially becomes the easiest question to ever merit multiple multiple-page threads. I didn't even blink on that question on the test then come home and everyone is talking about how hard it was and I was having Shakespeare related nightmares over the last few weeks thinking I mis-read a question in the first 5.

-2 on LG, different games. A rule substitution question and a must include question. I never really got the hang of the rule subs, and since I got -0 on the rest of the test, I'll never have to.

Re: PDFs out!
can someone please help me? my writing sample and the "item response report" are the only PDFs up. The IRR says my score but where I should see "my response" and "credited response" the whole table is blank. Do I have to wait for the answer sheet and disclosure book to be available before I can see which ones and how many questions I got wrong?

I'm guessing here but I tore through it and went back through every single question. I've got no hesitations saying I aced it.plenipotentiary wrote:How do you know how you did on the experimental? They don't release it.captainslow wrote:-8LR -0LG -0RC

Re: PDFs out!
I got a 160 (74 raw score)
-9 on LR: I'm very happy with this; I normally miss 10-11 total on PTs.
-8 on AR: I'm really bad at games, so I actually thought this would be a lot worse. Hopefully I can whittle this down to -5 or so by the June 2011 retake.
-10 on RC: WTF!?!? How did this happen??? I was averaging -5 to -7 in PTs. This was supposed to be my best section. If I had a halfway decent RC, I'd have close to a 165 (which I'd be really happy with).

It was a -12!McNulty wrote:Wow... is it just me or is that curve really really low? Brutal test.
I do believe my original Harry Potter prediction held sway! 12 is the most prominent number in Harry Potter, obviously it would be my curve

And guys, does anyone else's writing look like a fifth graders? I have really neat, nice printing, but in PDF format, I swear, it looks like a little kids.

-12? That's a fairly good curve. I dont like how -11 also garners you a 170. It would have been nice if it was a -12 with no other number.McNulty wrote:Wow... is it just me or is that curve really really low? Brutal test.
Much better then the -10 or -9 some of us felt it might be.

Is there any chance we can get a screen of the conversion chart? I can't believe we saw so much disappointment last night and still saw a -12 curve.

Re: PDFs out!
You could get -11 or -12 and get a 170, thus making it a -12 because that's the most you could get wrong for a 170.bartleby wrote:Wasn't it -11

Would anyone mind sending me a copy of the pdf? I didn't take the test, just interested in seeing it?

My handwriting looks about the same as it did when I was in second grade. Not sure why PDF-izing my writing sample had this much of a downgrading effect. It's legible still, but just looks really childish.eit wrote:It was a -12!McNulty wrote:Wow... is it just me or is that curve really really low? Brutal test.

I mean that the curve is helpful, but that means the test was pretty hard, yes?AverageTutoring wrote:-12? That's a fairly good curve. I dont like how -11 also garners you a 170. Haha, okay, well, maybe it's just the PDFization that's making it look childish. Although, to be honest, I write big and very clearly/neatly so it does look a bit young. But I'd prefer that to a scrawl. I like my writing, so whatever, adcomms, you better like it too!catsparka wrote:My handwriting looks about the same as it did when I was in second grade. And reading over my writing sample, I lol'd at how Latin has affected my formal writing. I never say can/could but "is able [complementary infinitive]" is all over the place, haha. Just because I always translate something like possum narrare as I am able to narrate b/c in Latin it's the infinitive, haha.

I look like a four year old scribbling wierd phrases such as "quantitative, objective inquiry."

Is there a reason why you guys can see your PDFs but I can't see mine? When I go to the LSAC website and go to LSAT ---> LSAT Status I see IRR and Writing Sample PDFs and that is it. There is no file for answer sheet, disclosure book and conversion table.

This happened to me when I took the test the first time. To this day it's never shown up. Tough luck.Redurgam wrote:Is there a reason why you guys can see your PDFs but I can't see mine?
