I agree with you about sugar, but I had a banana on test day and it worked just fine. I've been training for an ironman and have never felt better in my entire life. I have absolutely zero endurance issues related to taking an LSAT. Now fixing silly mistakes....that's a different story.Bananas aren't even an especially great source of potassium. A potato or a small pork chop will have almost twice as much.
Personally I've been laying off the caffeine, but I would still choose a sugar-free energy drink over a banana.
I agree with exercising though. Some studies suggest that aerobic exercise may have a beneficial effect on cognition and learning.
