Re: This test...is it a signal?
I just don't think I can compare thinking about this test versus a prep test. I usually had less than 60 seconds between finishing the last second and starting to score it, because I am that impatient. I also never came online to read about other people's experiences with that particular test (without them knowing the answers, etc), didn't read about what were the hardest questions, didn't read debates about answer choices, didn't read blah blah blah.... no outside input into my thinking process.longdaysjourney wrote:When you scored your PTs did you do better or worse than you thought that you had?eit wrote:I don't really know how to articulate it. So it's just not comparable. I also never bothered to think about how well I did, really, on PTs, cause I was gonna score it so I'd see how well I did.

I dont think so. If it is a new era it is not that exciting. New eras are usually announced...like split passages, invisible paper, and optional dual.
Not using u and v in a or L or I the same logic game was just to much for me to handle. I had to reprep.

Probably just a way to discourage cheating. If you know the person next to you had LG for their second section, and you realize you're working on the same logic game during section, you might just copy his sheet if time starts to run out. This isn't even a bigger change than when they decided to get rid of one stimulus corresponding with two questions.

Re: This test...is it a signal?
I'd say it's more than comparable; emotions are behavioral patterns are exaggerated in times of stress. I didn't mean "predict your score" in any sort of specific way...I just mean when you finished your average section, or test, or whatever, did you usually think, "Oh, wow, I didn't do as bad as I thought," or did you think, "Holy shit, I thought I just got a -0 and it was a -12." Or, if it wasn't one of those two extremes, and you usually felt that your score wasn't surprising...then that should tell you something too.eit wrote:So it's just not comparable. I'm so scared I got a 157 again. I'm just so mad at myself that I already got the 2 EASY ones right that most people got correctly (antibiotics and shakespeare). *rocks back and forth*

If a question can spur a 12 page debate thread, it wasn't easy. Don't be sad.littlepixie11 wrote:I'm so scared I got a 157 again. I'm just so mad at myself that I already got the 2 EASY ones right that most people got correctly (antibiotics and shakespeare). *rocks back and forth*

Yes, I and GeePee are both logged in at the same time and posting, thus proving that we are in fact different users. Thank you for pointing that out.longdaysjourney wrote:Says the guy who's posting on the same board at the same timeSt.Remy wrote:+1GeePee wrote:You people are insane.

Watch YouTube videos. Play Freecell. Do ANYTHING other than stress about this test on TLS until about October 28th. Then feel free to panic.jarofsoup wrote:GeePee wrote:You people are insane.

Am I the only one who didn't think LR was that difficult? I thought June was WAY harder in all aspects, bar maybe reading. I feel like I'm missing something. Even the Shakespeare question wasn't hard, I thought it was pretty straightforward. I'd bet heavily I did much better on October than June.
I'm expecting a very tight curve. -10 or -9 would be pretty high in my mind.

May have been the pressure but I found the June test's LR easy. I got a -3 overall.OklahomasOK wrote:Am I the only one who didn't think LR was that difficult?
