I thought about it some more. I'm afriad I'm going to have to pull a 180.ahern wrote:Apparently the moderator doesn't understand what defamation means. Statements that are true cannot be defamatory. The fact is that Trent Teti actually wrote those emails. I have no idea why the moderator would want to suppress this information.
I'm reposting the link. We'll see if the moderator censors it again.
YEP CENSORED AGAIN
I suppose it is right for the moderators to prevent this website from becoming a battleground for test prep companies. It isn't a matter of censorship. It's a matter of preserving the intended function of this forum: to help people who are preparing for the LSAT. If they allow every test prep company to post promotional content, or material that attacks the reputation of another test prep company, whether or not that material is based on established facts, this forum could be overrun with such messages. That wouldn't be fair to those who come to this forum looking for help preparing for the LSAT. Moreover, I would think it would be more likely to deter than encourage people from enrolling in prep classes.
Nevertheless, test prep companies are relevant to the subject of preparing for the LSAT. This is clearly an appropriate venue for test prep companies to reach out to potential clients. However, it should probably be limited to threads dedicated to each company where potential students can find information and ask questions about the course material. The test prep companies would be able to post whatever they want within the confines of their dedicated threads. That seems like the best solution.
I respect your message, ahern. I just don't want this to give other prep companies license to turn this thread into a battlefield.
