yeah, that was part of the (admittedly lame) attempt at humor.CastleRock wrote:By bar story he meant drinking bar (I assume), not the other bar.Audio Technica Guy wrote:Telling said story may keep you from passing the character and fitness portion, because you'd seem crazy.ResolutePear wrote:Sure I'd chew it off for the 180. I'd do it for a 176, with my 3.7 a 180 probably isn't getting me anything that a 176 isn't

Sorry, I didn't expect such a lame use of a pun. You would think so, but schools love to jockey LSATs for USN.Patriot1208 wrote:I'd do it for a 176, with my 3.7 a 180 probably isn't getting me anything that a 176 isn't

Ya but with a 176 or 180 3.7, i'm probably out of HYS anyways, and in at CCN anyways, and I doubt money would be much different with either one.ResolutePear wrote:You would think so, but schools love to jockey LSATs for USN.Patriot1208 wrote:I'd do it for a 176, with my 3.7 a 180 probably isn't getting me anything that a 176 isn't

Fair enough. I'll let you know how a 180 3.5 goes when I finish chewing my finger off. it's starting to taste and smell like almonds.Patriot1208 wrote:Ya but with a 176 3.7, i'm probably out of HYS anyways, and in at CCN anyways, and I doubt money would be much different with either one.ResolutePear wrote:You would think so, but schools love to jockey LSATs for USN.Patriot1208 wrote:I'd do it for a 176, with my 3.7 a 180 probably isn't getting me anything that a 176 isn't

Why would any law student with a 180 LSAT want to chew off a pinky?jayn3 wrote:i would chew off a pinkie for a 178+
Where would s/he put the pinky ring when s/he starts raking in the cash?

To do serious business, you need a pinky ring. It's how multi-million dollar contracts are signed: by people with pinky rings.

Ya, man fuck my 3.7. I had a 3.88 before transferring and now think my lsac is going to be like 3.75 or so. Damn my stupid decision to transfer from an easy state school to harder school.acrossthelake wrote:It's a weird place to be--not good enough to get into the higher rung, yet good enough for $$$ at your best options? But at least i'm not in the the section that makes it hard for CCN. Of course, at my current LSAT test prep scores i'm not getting into CCN anyways.

Re: Would you chew off your own finger for a 180?
Having a 180 doesn't help a school's USNWR #s any more than a 176 does. Remember, they use percentiles, not averages. A 176 is over every schools' median and 75th percentile. Really, a 176 doesn't matter that much to anyone except people taking the LSAT, in my experience.ResolutePear wrote:You would think so, but schools love to jockey LSATs for USN.Patriot1208 wrote:I'd do it for a 176, with my 3.7 a 180 probably isn't getting me anything that a 176 isn't
