So what you're saying is, you are going to smoke us in the courtroom?
LOL, fuck, I love that.
You may be a big Harvard man, but they aren't teaching you the REAL skills of lawyering up there in your ivory tower! My TTT's moot court team got third in the regional tournament and I finished fourth individually. All that theoretical stuff won't help you argue a murder case against ME! You are toast!

What the fuck you gonna say when I'm all like "objection hearsay" and the judge is all like "damn son, truth" and you're talking about the uniform commercial code?

So OP, what's the complaint? That people outside of the LSAT world are too tough on us?

I am ALWAYS in the conversation.

And if it bothers you so much, tell people your percentile. I would say "I got in the 96th percentile" and none of my idiot friends realized my score was actually TTT.

It really is a slap in the face when you prepare as much as you can, battle test day nerves and get a good score that just isn't "good enough."

Well I'm sure you're not even close to tired of hearing about what your score should be from people who have seen thousands of LSAT questions. With that in mind, allow me to note that Elle Woods, a fictional movie character, did better than you on the LSAT. She's not even a real fucking person and she did better than you. This is America. In America we reward hard work with success. If you didn't want a low LSAT score you should have studied harder.
America has low rates of intergenerational mobility. Success usually comes, not from hard work, but from knowing people/being lucky.

The hard work myth is just a way of demonizing the poor and justifying ones own wealth.

So the problem with the American Dream is that some people who take the LSAT are just much, much smarter than you?

You can even make this more impressive by saying "and that's 96th percentile of people who take the LSAT, who are all college grads and have the motivation to try to go to law school. So it's basically that top of the top."

I can't lie like that though. Of people who are reasonably intelligent and actually tried on the LSAT, I'm around the 50th percentile.

That's funny because I grew up poor with minimal financial support from my parents. I studied my ass off for the LSAT and now I'm looking upward mobility in the face. But you're right, an objective standardized test is just the rich mans way of making sure the poor man has no way of encroaching on his privilege.

This makes me laugh. Your use of definitive adjectives is remarkable. Qualify "much, much" and maybe I can respond to this remark.

Oh? If this correlation isn't causative, feel free to try to come up with a better theory. Good luck with that.

Right. A test in which test prep is incredibly expensive and it is fairly impossible to do well without lots of study is a good way of increasing intergenerational mobility.
