It didn't take long once they got them. 2-3 days I want to say.

I'm reading the Economist because I didn't want to study RC. 3 weeks off does not do wonders to your motivations.

Well, that is one of the big factors in my really wanting to get this done in June. I have booked a 3 week vacation in June, right after the test. I don't think such a long break would help, in case I decide to take the test in October.

Also, why is everyone dissing the Trainer all of a sudden, right when I have decided to plunge into it?

Trainer: Next 10 days.
MLSAT LG: Days 11 to 25
MLSAT LR: Days 11 to 40
MLSAT RC: Days 11 to 40

This accompanied by PT 51-60, and Cambridge Bundles for the next 40 days.

Then, with 8 weeks to go, more drill baby drill, and 6-section PTs.

Hopefully this plan (mutatis mutandis) works! Any suggestions?
I'd be a bit weary to use up 10 PT's after going through the lesson books. Maybe do 2-3 PT's and then hone in on your weaknesses by drilling Cambridge?

Seriously, don't take too much time off or it will be really hard to get back into it. I took about a week off and then it turned into much longer. I think taking some time off is great and can be very beneficial to learning but be careful with demotivating activities (for me thats tv & movies & social media)

Agreed. I didn't touch anything for the test from September until the start of January (because reasons). That first week back was basically useless, meandering, and unfocused.

Maybe.

Pro: Waitlist fears, interest in tutoring, may strike out this cycle.
Con: If lucky, I will be divorced. If unlucky, murdered in my sleep. Also trying to finish out this M.S. and internship.

Does anyone have any insight on improving my mindset for level 4 cambridge drill questions? I seem to do pretty well on the rest and then just shit the bed come L4 time, usually hitting 50-60% instead of the normal 85-95%?

How sure of your answers are you when you pick answers on these questions? Do you think you 100% chose the right answer and then get it wrong or do you kinda sorta pick and answer that sounds right?

I'm completely putting off studying this week. 3 midterms next week, and I'm in full grade-maintenance mode. You can get 3 LSAT's-- you get one GPA.

When doing them write out why ACs are wrong and why 1 is right. Spend as much time as needed on every question. Check Manhattan explanations on the ones you get wrong and compare their reasoning to your own. Jot down the questions you missed and come back to them in a week or so.

Does Staples not have the ability to do online print orders? I know Office Depot does, and I've used them to print Cambridge packets before. I like printing my PTs with them because I can get them printed in a book form (w/ saddle staple) for cheap. It beats having loose pages for a PT.

Who has done this? The Trainer has been a great resource to complement Powerscore/Manhattan resources.

I've only read like 1/4 of it but I have mixed feelings about it so far. The LR is a good introduction, and I like the mini-drills where he puts ~20 questions on a page, but it's nowhere near as sophisticated as Manhattan LR.

It's not a bad book, especially as an introduction, but it's hyped so much here on TLS that it's hard for it to live up to the expectations.

No, it's not as in depth in any of the topics. I found it best to go through first as a primer, and then go into the individual section books.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
