Maybe the most romantic proposition I've seen in a while. I'm rooting for this

I share the same sentiments WG. Unfortunately, it has become a necessary part of my prep to repeat logic games everyday in order to stay sharp and consistent. What I have started doing is saving my LG drilling for later in the day, until after I finish all of my scheduled LR and RC practice. That way I can have a fresh mind while I am drilling LR but still reap the benefits of drilling LG on a daily basis. I feel like at this point I expend way less mental energy doing LGs as opposed to breaking down complex reasoning structures in and LR and reading long / boring RC passages.

Hows the games drilling coming, Louie?

I have been doing alot of repeat games (and yes, I remember them) in order to drill those inferences in my head. I messed up two hard games yesterday- one complex sequencing and one grouping. Today I'm going to redo those until I "own" them, as J.Y. puts it, and then I'm going to do more hard games. Hopefully I'll have a better success rate on my first try today than I did yesterday.

Hi, I remember seeing a list of all of the hardest LG games somewhere on the forum. Are you using that list?

While I am not using that list exactly, I am basically doing all games from the Cambridge packets from PT 1-38 grouped by type, but I am only doing the harder ones (Cambridge rates them based on difficulty level and basically I am doing all games that are level 3 or 4). But I am sure that there is ALOT of overlap between the games I am doing and the games you are referring to. In fact, there may be 100 percent overlap.

Edit: My definition of "hard" games is more inclusive than most people's definition of "hard" games because I am worse at games than most people lol.

lol, Honestly, I was hoping that you had the list so I can get it from you but I will just do a search on TLS. Good luck with the games, LG used to be my worst section now its one of my best.

Nice! Anything you did in particular that helped you immensely? Or was it just repetition/ review/ doing things you missed correctly over and over?

edit spelling

louis, i think you need to learn how to have fun with games. for me, it was a pain at first but learning to love LG and having FUN with cracking the code for each particular game is what got it to be my best section.

very vague advice i know...

My focus has drifted from LG. More so because my schedule is now LR heavy.

Games are pretty easy for me. I sometimes make stupid mistakes like forget a rule, but for the most part I can handle pretty much everything.

I've yet to take a look at that DINO game though. I'll continue to work on games daily, but I'm not so much LG crazy right now.

I have done at least 300 or 400 of them by now... that's probably why for the most part they are easy

I agree with santoki, its the feeling that you get after finishing a game on time and going -0, its addictive.

No, I'm really headed to Vegas. I'm on the plane right now. I have Pts 52-61 with me and I'm wearing my 180 watch. Tonight I study in the MGM Grand. Life is good.

Took PT 59 today

LG -1
LR -4
LR -5
RC -3
Total -13

Did worse on LR than I usually do. Haven't gone over it yet, probably made some stupid mistakes but 2 or 3 of the questions came off as pretty strange to me. RC was bit difficult (sculpture and light passage had some interesting answers) surprised I only went -3. Thanks to a generous curve on this test I still got a 170, who knew there would be a day I'd be disappointed at a 170

I assume curves are just worked into the answer key conversion chart in the pt books right?
