Definitely allowed in NC, but a few cities don't allow it. Concealed is legal in the entire state, though. No clue on Virginia.

If you're opposed to open carry, I live in a state (when I'm not at Berkeley) where it is legal and almost no one actually does it. I do occasionally, but not often
Ah okay, very interesting. I had no idea it could vary by city, not just by state.

I think I actually prefer open carry to concealed carry, lulz. Then again, it would probably cause me to have a heart attack. :P
Correction. Actually, all cities in NC now allow open carry apparently due to a SSC case

I guess it depends if you go with Easter Sunday or Easter Monday but I have no fucking idea. Is Easter even still a thing? Maybe they cancelled it this year.

most people who open carry in my anecdotal experience are doing it for varmints because they are ranchers.

I just thought Friday was crucifixion day, and he rose on the 3rd day after that. Apparently not. My Catholic school teachers are rolling in their seats, lulz.

Not really anti-gun - I'm from hickville so I get it - but I get freaked out seeing people carrying guns around cities, just instinctually.

I've never seen a gun in my life. I probably wouldn't realise it was legal until I was kilometres away.

For some reason I have a serious paranoia of mass shootings and stuff. Long objects like tennis rackets or hockey sticks or whatever in a crowded public place induces an immediate panic response.

probably not as much as Israel, but Greece is like that as well, and I think Romania and some other places in Europe.

I grew up around guns but small towns, middle of nowhere, and usually for hunting and stuff, cities it feels different.

eh, I don't see the difference regardless. I just assume everyone is CCWing all the time so don't hit them (you shouldn't hit people anyways but it is a super deterrent).

not saying there's a difference, I'm just irrationally paranoid. I get that way about planes and shit too.

KILOMETRES, please. Why insist on using American spelling when you don't even use that unit of measure?! :P
