Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
i am reviewing 76 LR1 and don't see how q21 parallel flaw question's credited choice conclusion that is definitive ("will be unable") matches with the the probabilistic conclusion in the stim. it's not surprising that 7sage analytics has 35% for C and 14% for the credited choice.
also not sure how both C and D in q25 about wilke & wilke not do the job asked in the stem.
this lr section really got me.

I bombed LR unexpectedly in October with similar scores. Not sure what happened, the one that felt the best actually went the worst, too.PatriotP74 wrote:So, the Cowboys won today.
And I did very little LSAT prep. But still moving along on my plan yet a little behind, hoping to finish up the Manhattan course this week, planning on taking a PT on Thursday and Saturday. 166+ is my goal for this test and if I can just tighten up my LG skills its very do able, LR is pretty decent or at least it has been. It was going into the October test as well and ended up going -9 and -8 ugh, still upsetting.
What should the next poll be? Ill change it out tomorrow.

Just scored PT 73 (164).
Felt like I bombed the last LR, will blind review later. Haven't looked at the breakdown yet

I'm pretty dejected because even though I've been studying for months, I haven't really improved much. I've improved on LG but still not at the -0 level. I've basically not improved in the other sections so I think I've wasted many months of my life. I doubt I'll get the score I want this December and am horrified by the prospect of taking a cycle off. Really in a sticky situation here and not seeing light at the end of this tunnel. It's not that hard of a test but somehow I was never able to study properly. Sorry for ranting but I had to get this off my chest.
lg is relatively easy to improve but keep the perspective that anything can happen on Test day if recent PTs are anything to go by.

For q25, I believe D is the correct answer. Answer C actually weakens the argument.

Yeah the zephyr airlines game got me, it was more of a mapping game rather than pattern. I just didn't have a way of representing the rules. Of course that guy on 7sage made it seem relatively easy thoappind wrote:some 30s LG sections have some nasty games incl pattern games. may be the trend continues till 40. but i did the 45 LG section recently and that was one of the easiest lg i did.PoopNpants wrote:damn just did PT 40 game section. that third game had me so confused wtf I haven't done that badly on a game in months......

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Finished PT 75 this morning, haven't graded it but reviewed the games, and watched JY videos after and I got them all right.
I didn't feel to comfortable with RC and I had put an experimental reading comp in there and it was sections 2 and 3.
Prepare for the worst hope for the best.
Going to go eat, then gym, then go retake PT 72

Been studing off and on the last three months, I got the next two weeks off work before the test, any advice for a quick two study plan for someone already familiar with the test?

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Hey guys, long time lurker here. December will be my third time taking the LSAT, I most recently got a 168 on October and I'm hoping to close the gap to 170+. Studying has been going fairly well but my results on recent PTs has me worrying. RC has typically always been my best section after LG, I have consistently gone no more than -2 or -3 max since I began studying a year ago. However recently my RC performance is wildly unpredictable, I've been averaging -6 or above, most recently going -7 on PT 74, resulting in a frustrating 168. Has anyone else run into this problem or one similar? I have no idea what caused this sudden decrease in scoring, as it doesn't seem to be any particular set of PTs giving me trouble (i.e. my RC isn't going down just on PT 70+, the largest dips occur in the tests in the 50s) but it's consistently holding me back from the 170s. Anyone have any tips before I just say fuck it?

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
What is everyone doing the last few days before the test? PTs top the end? A few sections a day? Light review? Hard studying?
I ask because I want to go about this the perfect way heading into the test, not being burned out but still being at my maximum potential.
