Brother, I can attest that JackelJ is a cutie. Hazel-hued hair gradually dropping down her thin, but robust, shoulders. A sultry smile that suggests upmost commitment to a relationship. Confident and unruffled, yet sweet-seeming.

I'd really like to believe that scholarly sweets is not trolling, and that he's actually like this IRL. Because he's kind of hilarious.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
ScholarlySweet! tip of the day
When a stimulus offers a study in support of a conclusion (e.g., "scientists gave students brain pills during one school year. Originally, 5% of the students maintained A averages; after the brain pills, 55% of the students maintained A averages. On the basis of these data, it can be concluded that brain pills can contribute to a student's grade-point average").
There are many problems here; for one, the students who were given brain pills could have possibly taken remarkably easier classes than they did the previous year, and that's why most were able to maintain A averages and not because of brain pills.
But the major problem, in the study above, is that it didn't use a control group (i.e. a group who is given a placebo). Had it said something like: "students were given brain pills and other students were given placebos" then it would be able to reach the conclusion above.
So remember when a stimulus cites a study in support of a conclusion, be on the look out for the control group (i.e. a group who is given a placebo)!
HOAP THIS HALPS:)
