some 30s LG sections have some nasty games incl pattern games. may be the trend continues till 40. but i did the 45 LG section recently and that was one of the easiest lg i did.PoopNpants wrote:damn just did PT 40 game section. that third game had me so confused wtf I haven't done that badly on a game in months......

I'm in on this thread, although I'm rather late. I also want to make a small contribution to the 180 page goal because I personally feel like that would be good luck for all of us. I also wanted to share that I bought the 4 most recent PTs from LSAC because I didn't have any from the 70s, including 77 without realizing that they'd even have that option. Fuck it, maybe I'll get it a few days early

Taking pts in the morning is always your best bet, since the actual test will be in the morning anywaysi_wish_i_was_smart wrote:I'm depressed because I always end up taking PTs at night after studying for 6 hours. By the time I take my PT I'm exhausted and that hurts my scores. I've decided that I'll only do PTs in the morning now.![]()

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Never posted my PT 72 results:
RC: -4 (-2 BR) (That was a hard section!)
LR: -12 (-10 BR)
LG: -1 (-0 BR)
167/171
I'm frustrated because I got a 167 in October so I don't feel like I've made much progress. But I am feeling more confident about games -- I had a very good day in October and I was concerned it was a fluke, because I had never gone -1 on an LG section until test day. But I've been pretty consistent in LG for my PTs since October.
I'm going to hit the Manhattan LR book hard this week.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Did 2nd take LR of PT76 again yesterday and RC/LG today morning to get the BR results.
PT 76:
LR1 -5 (!!)
LR2 -2
LG -2
RC -7 (!!)
167
BR:
LR1 -4
LR2 -1
LG -0
RC -2
175
so i find the LR in this PT quite different than the other ones that i have done, e.g. PT75 and PT 72. some questions seem very vague esp in lr1.
q16 about % of respondents/legislature from right to wrong during BR
q21 the parallel flaw about humans in australia
q25 about wilke and wilke
RC seemed very easy but i still managed to miss -7 and -3 on the last passage alone, which seems very easy now.
LG that 3rd game took me 13 mins when doing it today for BR. i didn't get any strong inferences and basically brute forced.
very disappointed that i couldn't do well on a pt that wasn't particularly hard and had a esp not difficult RC. i don't know why i still keep missing so much even on an easy RC. that last passage couldn't be easier (felt it was much much easier than P3 in PT72 about equipoise) and i think i had about 8 mins going into it, but still couldn't get to the last question.
