Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
Anyone in here who is sitting Oct but would consider a Dec. re-take if their score isn't high enough:
On the LSAC webpage it says the deadline to sign up for Dec. would be Oct. 30th, you guys think we would get our scores back in time to meet this deadline? Late registration is available til Nov. 11th but it's an extra $90 which really fucking sucks. Not planning for failure here, but just wondering how the rest of you jokers would go about this. Should I just sign up for Dec. just in case before getting my Oct. score back?

Same, mine is on my uni campus! I almost had to fly home to take it, but remembered to check if my school had one at the last minute, since it hadn't the previous years.pterodactyls wrote:I'm spoiled... my test center is walking distance from my apartment.

Pretty sure I read that scores should be out by Oct 23rd, so that should be plenty of time. That would also fit with the 3 week turnaround that LSAC claims.PoopNpants wrote:Anyone in here who is sitting Oct but would consider a Dec. re-take if their score isn't high enough:

I think I would wait to see how I felt after the October exam first, before signing up for Dec!PoopNpants wrote:Anyone in here who is sitting Oct but would consider a Dec. re-take if their score isn't high enough:

Prep Test 57 June 2009
168
BR:169
LR: -7
LG: -3
RC: -3
I took PT 57 on Friday and BR today and scored.
For LR, 7sage analytics states that out of 9 NA questions from PT 55 and PT 57, I have a 44% correct rate. I need to drill NA to get 1-2 more right for LR.
I cannot believe I got -3 in LG. For LG, I got the dinosaur game all correct, but I got -2 wrong on the last game. I was running out of time.
For RC, that math based passage killed me. It was very difficult.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
I noticed when researching the latest poll that GPAs seem kinda random and don't appear to correlate with US News rank as strongly as LSAT scores... yall splitters will probably want to take that into account when you're deciding where to apply.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
LSAT scores were a lot easier to make options for because all T14 medians are within what, like 5 points of each other? GPAs are all over the place and don't even follow the rankings very closely. I did the best I could.gamerish wrote:Weird poll options.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
I usually score between 170-174, but the lowest I recently score when I make a bunch of stupid mistakes is a 169. I usually miss 9-11 regardless of how difficult the exam is. On an easier test with a harder curve, I usually make a couple more dumb mistakes to maintain my 89-92% accuracy rate. Has anyone else experiences something similar? If 169 is the lowest I'm scoring even after taking a test and feeling horrible about it, is it likely that 169 is my floor?
FWWIW: LG-0
RC -3 to -8 (usually -6)
LR -2 to -5 (-8 is my worst in the last 3 months)
4.02 gpa FTW

I was supposed to take the day off of all things LSAT, but I was so bored that I drilled 2 LR sections to pass the time.

So my last 3 PT's. What should my area of focus moving into the last 5 weeks? My LG mistakes tend to be very minor like i'm rushing and i miss minor details and just happen to get the question wrong. LR is definitely an endurance issue as most of my mistakes come at the end of the test, how do I combat tiredness? And RC I just don't know.... at least i'm improving right?

Need higher LSAT in Oct to make up for it.
Anyone know which schools prefer GPA to LSAT and vice versa?
