I wanna watch a movie too. I just finished an 11 mile hike and want to just lay down all night and not drill haha. I'll try for a PT either tomorrow or Tuesday morning

I think some of you are familiar with BP? If so, I'm wondering if you have a suggestion for materials that will supplement the strategies they teach best. I'm using the BP Movie now, and think the methods are working well. I don't want to confuse myself and ultimately backtrack by attempting to supplement, but I keep reading about the trainer and manhattan's LR material...

The amount of hw they assign is a good amount if you review them. If you need even more practice, then I would recommend the Cambridge drill packets.

I just did 9 simple ordering games with 100% accuracy (except for one) under 6 minutes timed so I'm starting to work on my LG weakness: timing. Going to get some sushi and relax while watching tv.

I am very disappointed in all of you. KEEP DRILLING. LESS THAN 50 DAYS.

HARVARD | YALE | STANFORD | COLUMBIA | CHICAGO | NYU | MICHIGAN | VIRGINIA | NORTHWESTERN | DUKE | CORNELL ARE ALL WAITING FOR US. REMEMBER: IT'S A BUYERS' MARKET. LSAT MEDIANS ARE DOWN AND WILL CONTINUE TO DECLINE. NOW OR NEVER BABBAY.

I didn't really supplement the BP material with anything because I understood the concepts well from the course and they give you pretty much every lsat question (except for maybe some logic games because they are in their LG book instead). I did all the homework and I'm working on all the extra practice problems now. I saved about half of the PTs they gave and If I need more material I'll just retake the PTs I took back over the summer. I'll probably end up buying their LG book for the sole purpose of getting the games that they did not include in the normal course.

Other material that I have used includes the 7sage LG videos which I think I might be starting to prefer to BP's videos. I have also gone through the LSAT Superprep book early in my studies and thought it offered some good insights as to what the test makers test you on and where they try to trick you. If you are weak in a particular area that isn't getting better with just drilling then you can look into other methods.

Thank you..and congrats the LG success! I'm going to wait on getting anything additional for now. Do you know how the drilling packets differ from the extra material they give us? It's categorized by section and question type, but I'm not sure it's organized by difficulty.

This is good to know...I'm going to start looking at the extra material in the next week as the course finishes. If you don't mind me asking when did you take the course? Did you postpone your test beyond the test 3 months after the course begins?

Thanks.

As far as I know, their [BP] practice packets are questions mostly from the older PT's that haven't been used for the course lessons or hw themselves. It should have a variety of difficulty levels. I already bought the Cambridge packets prior to the BP class and have been sticking to that since it has all the questions from PT 1-38. I don't mind redoing a question because I can just double check my method of reasoning. If I rely on memory and get a repeat question wrong, then I know that I'm not working hard enough.

Not sure if directed at me as well but I took mine Sept-Dec in hopes of taking the Dec test. I postponed because I wasn't feeling ready yet as indicated by my PT scores.

Do you guys know if graduating with honors has any sort of tangible impact on admissions? Considering leaving my school's honors program, just want to make sure I'm not throwing away one of my half-decent softs.

Only CR honor is Phi Beta Kappa. All of the other "honors" including latin honors are TTT.

I really wanted to PT but that didn't happen, I guess I'll try to take one tonight. How's everyone else's studying going?
I wanted to PT today or tomorrow to gauge my progress but might push back till next Monday/Tuesday. I want to finish drilling all of LG and then work on timed section drilling. I don't feel like I have an endurance problem compared to timing in general so I think I should benefit a lot from full section drills. I hope to finish drilling LG by Christmas Eve and then do 2 full PT's by sections from Christmas till Sunday + review.

It's really not a big deal. Just remembered I forgot to even put it on my resume. They'll see your GPA, LSAT, and any other honors and realize that you were a good student.

Lol, did my first LG packet of the day and went -4,-2,-0,-0 on each game, respectively.

Guess I've learned that I need to warm up first.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
