To answer your question, it allows them flexibility to change it every year, but not the year for which they have already set the Scaled Score/Percentile relationship for (see above).

Ehhh your explanation isn't that convincing.
Right, so looking at that exact chart, if you score a 176 on an exam between June 2014 to February 2015 (future tests) your percentile will be 99.7, meaning that you did better than 99.7% of people who took the test from 2011 to 2014.

And SORRY GUYS!!! I'll stop derailing the thread.... I'm really looking forward to drilling parallel/flaw this weekend. I honestly cannot wait to get to the library (it's been two weeks. ugh.)

I'm doing parallel flaw this weekend too!

Why do I feel like 7sage isn't going to be DTF with your plan to let multiple people piggyback on one account?
We dont know. Guess we'll find out. I've heard about a group doing it in the past though so its worth a shot.

We're not DTF. The LSAC is not DTF.

If we see too many random IPs from all over the place your account gets locked down. We send one email attached to the account and ask for a password reset. If that person shares the new password again, the account gets locked down again, longer this time. Rinse, repeat.

You want to do this, remember if these people are okay with scamming us, the same ones are okay with scamming you. That's why they say there's no honor among thieves.

If the LSAC gets wind of this and asks us about it, we will 100% disclose the compromised account. This means whoever's paying for the account is bearing all the risk. Even from a purely selfish perspective, it's a bad deal.

Also, why are you guys wasting your time scheming like this? You guys want to be lawyers one day right? Don't start your non-existent legal careers this way. It's not right. Don't you realize that your time is precious? There's so much that you could be thinking about. There's so much that's actually worth your attention and dare I say innovation. For example, this:

First post in this thread, but you guys help me stay motivated!!

Any thoughts on LSAT Superprep A? I thought it was "too easy" for a test especially RC; I usually struggle with RC but this time, I was able to finish well under 35 minutes and I only made one mistake. I don't know if drilling paid off or if the test was just too easy haha

As someone who took the 7sage course, yeah this is ridiculous.

J.Y provides free LG videos, a course that is literally 1/5 the price of other competing programs and people still want to get it even CHEAPER than he is giving it for? J.Y. talks about how its B.S. how expensive LSAT material is and goes out of his way to help all of us by making things dirt cheap and providing free tools like the prep test rather and the logic games explanations, along with the blog. Don't make people who do you favours regret that they did them for you.

i took a long hiatus from TLS ever since the june exam, but here we go again.

how are yall feeling? the working + studying grind is getting to me and i'm having a tough time motivating myself to work tirelessly at night.

with a month and a half to go, my PT schedule is going to be 2 PTs per week. i know it's not a lot to some of you but for me it's a tall order.

Yup, working and studying is tough. I just wanna watch Netflix when I get home.

I'm going to do even fewer PTs than you. I did a bunch of PTs for my June test and now I'm focusing more on drilling with a PT on the weekend. My goal is to not get burnt out...I feel like that's more important than trying to squeeze in a bunch of PTs.

It's a parallel party--I'm hitting parallel/parallel flaw this weekend too. Top lel at 7sage coming in and laying down the law. Discussing how to break the terms and conditions of an agreement on a public message board? You're gonna have a bad time.

While taking a PT or timed sections, do you guys save your Parallel Reasoning/Flaw questions until last?

I go straight through everything but logic games. If I get tripped up on a question, however, I will mark it and come back. But I don't intentionally find questions to skip in LR.

I feel the same I did maybe 25 pts in the three months before June and my score kept dropping. Now I've only done 2 in the last month 173 and 175. It feels like I'm slacking and is hard to not test but i'm loving my improved score and don't want to risk burnout like last time.

Ugh... There is always something in a PT that keep me confined to the low-mid (but mostly low) 160s.

Whether it's a tough RC passage that I bomb, a tough game that I bomb, or a rare LR section that I bomb- there is always something.

I'm continuing to drill all three sections with as deep review as possible. I have been drilling LR untimed and writing out explanations for pretty much every question so that hopefully I Get better. Soon, I will be back to PTing normally again with all sections timed and a 5th section, etc.

Is anyone interested in having a study partner or forming a small study group of 3-4 people? Ideally we would all be in similar situations in terms of what we have left for prep, approximate PT scores, goals, and in a perfect world geographical proximity (unlikely as I'm in Canada). I just re-read TLS1776's article and saw the stress on how valuable this could be and thought I'd give it a try.

We could just meet online a couple of times per week, bounce ideas and strategies off each other, provide motivation, question review and discussion, and even some friendly competition.

Here is where I'm at:

Still have PT52-71 left which I plan on completing all as 4 section timed or 5 section timed (with an "experimental" section from the PT20's tossed in)
Current PT scores are coming in high 160's to low 170's
Goal is 175+ on test day

Shoot me a message if you're interested!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
