not a good sign with like 11 days to go.
YOU WILL DO GREAT. PT 61 sucks, g4 especially, and a 98/101 is still phenomenal. <3 <3 <3

Does anyone else wish they could switch their experimental for one of the sections? For some reason I keep scoring so much better on the experimental than the section in that PT. So frustrating.

you know that feeling you get when you blast through games 1,2, and 3 only to blank/run out of time on game 4? Yeah, that happened.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
The fuck.....
40s LR is absolutely owning me. -7 on one section just now. It's absurd and there shouldn't be a large discrepancy with my performance on the 40s as compared to other sections. -3 is considered an excellent section for me in the 40s.
I've seen most of the stuff before and did about equally as poorly over the summer...just more evidence for me that the retake boost I get when I actually get a boost isn't all that serious.
I've been using more 40s stuff mainly because I've seen all the 50s/60s multiple times. Either way, the fluctuations are disturbing. Someone who has 170+ed a bunch of PTs shouldn't average something like -4 PER SECTION, even if it's isolated to the 40s.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Pretty much want to rage quit right now. I WENT DOWN on a retake! How is this even possible?
So far (having taken 7 preptests?), my retakes were usually 175+ range
And then PT67 (on which I scored 171 before), I just got 169. How is this even possible??
My LR, which was my weakest and also the worst section on first try, improved, but my dear, I bombed RC (-5, as opposed to -2 before) and then I somehow managed a -2 on LG (-1 before).
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Okay.... I don't know. I'm so distraught. Anyone has had this happened and found that it was an outlier?

I KNOW!! HOW IS THE CURVE -10! and it was out of 100. The worst. I don't know, thank you for your consolation but I just feel like I can't cut myself slack like this. Re: December 2013 Retakers
I have the opposite problem. My avg PT score was significantly higher in the 40s (with LR being somehow easier for me than the 60s...) so I'm concerned that since 71 is going to be obviously more similar to the 60s... I'm screwed lolOtunga wrote:The fuck.....

Re: December 2013 Retakers
PT 65: 174 (retake from a 174 earlier)
LR:-1
LG:-0
RC:-6
LR:-2
This is so sad. I actually did worse on my RC (had -3 last time). Very sad on LR as well since I had 5+ minutes on each section left and didn't change a damn thing (although, this is because I gave myself water breaks when I finished sections early with ample time). Time to read up on the Trainer and chill out a day or so. 5 tests in 4 days is obviously not working out.
Anyway, one thing I have learned from this batch of PTing is that practicing to discipline oneself to use spare time to review answers is especially difficult but should not be neglected.

I too know this feel all too well. I went down on a retake (172 to 170) on a recent PT and on this latest one, as noted above, made no score improvement. It is not a comforting feel.esther0123 wrote:I KNOW!! HOW IS THE CURVE -10! and it was out of 100. The worst. Re: December 2013 Retakers
If I submit applications now and want schools to review my application without the December score, how do I go about it? Attach an addendum? Email them? I know some people in this thread did it which is why I'm asking here.
This is for safety schools btw.
(Also Superprep Logic Games are kinda really hard.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
You need to email them -- this is true for Chicaco (fo sho, it says it on their website or status checker or something) and other T5's. Not sure if the same would apply for all other schools, but I can see it being a general rule...melodygreenleaf wrote:If I submit applications now and want schools to review my application without the December score, how do I go about it? Hey guys,
I notice a lot of you are talking about doing a lot of games in the coming week, I was wondering if you've used the games cambridge has available?
http://www.cambridgelsat.com/resources/ ... -practice/
I normally have all correct on the games but once every few tests a game will totally throw me off and ill drop to like 18-19 so I wanted to use these to drill...they aren't from preptests right? i dont recognize them from any preptest 40-65.../are they worth printing?

Re: December 2013 Retakers
The games linked (June 2007, India 2-4) are from official tests that the LSAC offers for free so those are legit. India 2-4 may be a bit different though in terms of difficulty or game type, but they're still good practice.Yazzzay wrote:Hey guys,

The ones below them are not from actual preptests. I wouldn't do them unless you've mastered every single logic game from PTs 1-70.
Also, thanks esther and bee!
