Also interested in this. Read about someone who had given each of their LOR writers a coffee mug from their eventual LS, but that's months (if not years) away for most people and it seems like something more than just a thank-you email might be nice.

I got my boss a special light bulb to helps babies (his newborn) sleep through the night in hopes he'll become a less miserable human being.
