You should fit some pencil shopping in there somewhere, then your day will go from fun to super awesome!!! J/k, haha :P

ETA- I had to google what Souplantation was b/c we don't have one of those here. Then I got really bummed b/c it looks awesome :(
hehh, souplantation can be healthy if you stick to the salad bar...but it's carb central otherwise.

Just got SUPER burnt on the beach.

Side-note: met someone who was sitting for the LSAT in Feb and was like "My professor said if you can do college, you can do the LSAT, so I'm not studying".

That's generally when I politely wish them luck and excuse myself. A fool is a fool.
Yeah, I wasn't about to crush her dreams.

Also, she says "I don't want to do anything too fancy or hard. I think working for the ACLU could be cool".

It baffles me how so many people think prestigious public interest legal careers are super easy to get. The people who get these jobs are almost always T14 grads at the top of their class.

I think people assume small paycheck=small competition, which is why it'd be hard to explain a clerkship to a non-legal person.

If I can hit 169 by December 31, I will register for the Feb test. Thus the cramming aspect of the next week.
I really think it's possible. LG and RC make infinitely more sense now.

No, but I think UVA on a Dillard would be ideal for me. Ideal outcome would be Clerk-->Southern Biglaw

Also, dat COL.

#thedream

I also like that Dillard's seem to be consistent. Like, most who push for it with a 4.0/171+ get it. In comparison, Mordecais are all over the map.
