Just submitted apps cause i figured it didn't matter when i submit since they wont even look at them until january. Do I have to notify them myself that I have a pending LSAT, or would they know automatically?

Eek I haven't gotten -4 in a LR section since the October test and 3 out of the 4 were within the first ten questions. Seems like my terrible, terrible habit of second guessing and thinking too deeply on easy questions is returning. (This answer's too obvious to be correct). This is what hurt me on the October test, so I really need to cut it out.

out of curiosity, which ones were they? if they were some random games from like, 1997, i wouldnt worry about it xD

G4 from PT 12 and G4 from PT 38. They are a quite old. Thanks for the reassurance. I need a break from logic games.

I actually don't think all schools wait for the new score. I mean it's automatic that they see you signed up for a new one, but I know some schools definitely contact you to check. I would send a quick email to them just in case if you do end up sending apps now.

172 so my new scores aren't as impressive as they seem haha. I was on a huge upward trend the last week before the October test and 172 was on the lower end of my PT average, so I thought why not, I could do better. (also need as many points as I can to offset my poor GPA).

im planning on 3/week, so i have 6 left. on my off days, i'm drilling games (aiming for 16 per off day, but lol at me being that productive)

Right at my PT avg. LR1 seemed harder than LR2. Games were a breeze if you made the crucial inferences in game 3 and read the 2 rules correctly in game 4, but RC seemed harder, but that may have been nerves with the dress rehearsal/totally fresh new PT, etc. I’ll be redoing these games and drilling RC extensively over the next 2 weeks. A disheartening number of my misses were right-to-wrong answer switches which are just pissoffs.

I wrote out my timing process for the test in order to internalize that more, since I think I lacked some organization in that area leading into Oct. It looks like the following:

For LG, do the first two games within 15 minutes, but if not, then no more than 17 minutes. For LR, go for 15 in 15 minutes or less, but if not, then no more than 17 minutes. For RC, do the first passages within 15 minutes, but if not, then no more than 17 minutes.

It's interesting that my timing strategies are uniform. LR is probably the section with the most leeway, since you can manage LR even if you take over 17 for the first 15 (it just can leave you rushing if there are a lot of difficult questions towards the end), but for LG and RC, you really need that systematic efficiency or else you're rushing through the last few questions almost guaranteed. And if you're not, odds are you missed some questions mainly due to rushing.

Does everybody else do something along these lines?

Haven't been here in a week and I don't know what worries me more: that my lack of productivity is no longer shared, or that the poll is still up.

I basically do the same thing. Although for LR I find you can slow down from 16-22 ish and rush the last 3 or 4. To me the last 3 or 4 aren't really more difficult, they are simply denser (most parallel or long principle questions are here). But the reasoning is quite simple.

To piggy back on this, I'm noticing my first sections always have a couple more wrong than everywhere else. Not sure how to remedy that.

40s LR almost never fails to deflate my confidence. I drilled 48 LR and scored -9, the same -9 I got in Oct. It's ridiculous that I'm still prone to these awful scores. I've even seen 48 LR before, and got the same -6 on LR2 as before. At least on 71, we should expect to get the 1-20s-esque LR, which I'm good with again after having drilled much of it, or the more modern LR of the 60s.

Anybody else fucking detest 40s LR? Most of my terrible LR scores are disproportionately found here, with one terrible score (-10) on 56 and the other one unfortunately in Oct. I fairly quickly got why the wrong answers were wrong and the right answer's right - I just think the logic in the 40s isn't as clear-cut and so it's difficult to interpret the argument's right at first.

LG was so depressing here. The notorious stained glass game was here but I spent 9 minutes on the first game alone. This is my worst LG probably since diagnostic. Also, dental caries is a bitch.

I don't even want to get into my three LR misses (all stupid stupid stupid misreads on inference questions) since I had a good amount of time left on both LRs.

Also, this was a retake from a few months ago (172 then). Off to take PT 63 to make up for this miserable performance.
