So on another note I applied to a bunch of schools (I think around 15) and one of them accepted me already with my crap December score that I'm not so fond of...
So the 14 other schools basically put my application on hold until the February score is released. Question, do the admissions committee get the scores instantly too?

FWIW- All the schools I have an application in with recommended I email them as soon as I receive my new score.

LSAC sends the school an updated report.

I feel like it would almost be a bit of a dick move for them to NOT release our scores today...look, we have an entire extra day this year. That day is today. Also, it would be really considerate of them to let us know our scores today in case we wanted to throw in a couple Yale Mary's at schools whose deadlines are March 1st...but what do I know

LSAC is definitely going to pull the dick card.

Just like how they gave us the 3rd LG game on the December 2015 LSAT.

I asked him the other day. He basically said yes, email them with the updated score (if it improved) and as a way to show you're still interested.

Yep, and they will also get them from LSAC unless they bizarrely fail to request. But, I always tell clients if you went up email immediately, if down don't email at all. There is a tiny gap of about 3-4 days where they wouldn't know, and possibly could read your file. And despite anything you have ever heard to the contrary, let me assure everyone THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE HIGH SCORE. Here is an article Karen and I wrote about just that:

Who exactly should we send this email to? The admissions committee general email? The dean of admissions?
