Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
So Spivey said that the majority of people end up feeling bad on testing day, and that they end up performing like they were PTing. Still, I don't want to think about the June LSAT right now, and I don't want to discuss the logic games at any depth unless the games are in my hand.

Sounds cool, can you elaborate on what kind of information they give (do they talk about specific ACs?)mornincounselor wrote:The latest Thinking LSAT podcast talks about the June test in great detail, including more detailed information on the LG then we are allowed to discuss here. Figured someone might be curious.
Looking forward to prepping with some of y'all that delayed till October or will be retaking . . . no time like the present to restart prepping.
Either way I probably won't check it out, we're so far removed from the test that I can't accurately remember the games anymore, so thinking about it will only cause worry.

Has anyone else transitioned from the anxious waiting mood to a sense of resigned acceptance to whatever your score is? Whether it means a retake or not, I'm just over the whole stressing out about it stage.whacka wrote:6 days

Yep, I have pretty much accepted that I am going to have to retake, which has made the waiting easier.EnderWiggin wrote:Has anyone else transitioned from the anxious waiting mood to a sense of resigned acceptance to whatever your score is? Imo the worst waiting days are the first three and last five. Can't get it out of your head right after the test, and once you know the scores are getting close the anxiety is at a maximum.

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
I'm anxious. My whole plan hinges on getting a score that I want in a week. I won't be ruined if I don't, but it'll be a MAJOR inconvenience. First off, I don't want to study anymore. I just DO NOT WANT TO STUDY ANYMORE. I had to retype that louder because when I typed it the first time, the thought of studying more made my body feel like my soul was leaving it. Having to retake in October will force me to push back apps, when I was going to apply to all of my schools within a week of their applications going up. That way I'd have my answers in quickly, and get the best scholarship offers. If I have to retake, I'm applying with the rat race. Finally, I just don't want to deal with the LSAT anymore in ways that don't have to do with studying... most of my law school bound friends at school are taking in October. They'll be busily discussing it and studying and sharing their hopes and fears going into the October test and taking it all together at my school. I just don't want to be a part of that. I hate the LSAT with a passion. I don't want to talk about it with these people anymore. I want to be able to go to sleep at night with a score that makes me happy. I want to be free.

Probably. But the point is that it's possible which is reason enough to start full-blown neuroticism.benwyatt wrote:Not unprecedented, but definitely unlikely.RareExports wrote:Unless gray is today. Or tomorrow. Or Thursday. You never know. It's not unprecedented.benwyatt wrote:

I'd say if it's this week, it's Friday.

That's not neurotic, that's being rational. Aka not welcome herebenwyatt wrote:Well, uh, you go ahead and have fun with that.RareExports wrote:Probably. I prefer to only be neurotic about likely or definite things.

For the record I said "so many"...I don't know if it is the majority or not but I do know it is many.Oskosh wrote:So Spivey said that the majority of people end up feeling bad on testing day, and that they end up performing like they were PTing. I just reached out to someone at LSAC to see if I can get an inside scoop on release date. But also for the record they are hyper guarded internally at LSAC and the last time I did this I reached out to 3 friends at LSAC and all 3 gave me different dates. Maybe I'll just apply for a temp job as a psychometrician for them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
