Wouldn't it have been cool if after our test, we could just flip a few pages& score our test right there like we do for PTs... wishful thinking

They gave me my score on the way out so....
Haha I wish. GRE basically does that. And apparently they are implementing the option to send only the scores you want to show to schools for GRE. That would be so nice.....

Waiting is the worst. Knowing we will never know the scale makes it even more nerve-wracking to me. At least on disclosed tests you can get a slightly better idea of what to expect when you open the score email once the scale is announced/figured out or whatever earlier that day.

Even just sending it to a local branch and shortening the wait time to two weeks...

Do you think it will be more generous than that?

Don't know if it was on the December test and I don't remember it being on October but the questions on the answer sheet about electronic devices? Pretty sure this is ok to talk about because it's not part of the test.

But I was just thinking last night about how they should change the test format and it should be on the computer and what do you know!

What do you think personally? I think LG and RC cancel each other and LR2 was a little difficult, so -11.

Stupid question: is the -10 or whatever it ends up being preset? Or is it based on actual test results?

My understanding is that they scale it beforehand. The only way actual test results could affect scoring might be if a question gets removed from scoring.

My understanding is that it's based on actual test results...that's why t takes so long to get our scores back cause they have to analyze everyone's responses & spot trends & if as a whole the questions were harder & therefore deserving of a more generous curve....but idk

What do you think personally? I think LG and RC balances each other and LR2 was a little difficult, so -11.
I think that people are generally unable to accurately gauge the curve.

Lol @ people saying, My understanding ....
And giving completely different answers.
Oh well, I guess we'll never know, not that it really matters. I'm sure it all evens out in the end. Thanks anyways!

nah it takes so long because LSAC loves watching you squirm...tbh with all the money they pull in they probably have the facilities to have all the tests scored by tonight then they spend the next 3-4 weeks sifting through forums and social media, cackling until they decide we have suffered enough ...until June.

Accurate
I mean it's really not that far off of a possibility.

After all we know that they're located right next to a cemetery where they harvest the souls to feed the Eldritch demons that write their test questions.

I agree. Although Killoran just tweeted a -11 prediction based on what he's heard. Take that for whatever it's worth.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
