damn wtf.. powescore isn't that bad of a company either.. maybe he just like, didn't do his part and did studying outside of the classroom? lol. damn that really sucks. i had a friend who took the December test and did very poorly on it with only having studied for a month. i studied for 9 months and got the score she got lol. do you know how shitty i felt knowing this?!?!? it's whatevs though, i got this the next time. i tried helping her with the test too. i told her that i can help her with what i know but i'm not the best at the test, but she had refused my help bc she was waitlisted at NYLS..... i was hoping she wouldn't get in because she would pay sticker at a TTT, and she didn't get in and i'm glad she didn't bc she's hard-headed af about it. i havent talked to her in a while but i think she is still trying to go to LS, but more or less a TT school here in NYC, which i don't think is bad but if it's sticker then it's fucking terrible.dj9i27 wrote:powerscore live course I think? remember that rant I had a few weeks ago about bailing on studying, yeah that was part of it.Mikey wrote:that legit sucks. did he even study at all??dj9i27 wrote: my words exactly October 19th. he was like what did you get and all I said was below my diagnostic I'm retaking

It's kind of weird... I remember tests that I definitively took based on 7sage score tracker far less than some that I didn't take as full tests...
I'm starting to wonder if I've just done so much of this I remember stuff I didn't actually do...
PT 65 (had some interruptions)
LR1 -0
LG -3 [two were really dumb, and one was laziness on first game... it's actually a good first game IMO...as it is definitely a mistake one could be liable to make in the heat of the moment]
RC -5 [really unpleased by that]
LR2 -2
91->173
PT 66
RC -3
LR1 -1
LG -0
LR2 -1
95-> 176 (not sure how we score the removed from scoring)

Have any of you considered taking the LSAT again, even if you get a score you're happy with, and would only be taking the LSAT another time just for fun?
I think it would be cool to take it with no stress, and just be in a situation where everyone else is reasonably concerned, and for you it's just fun.
Then again, it is like $150 USD.
Sort of like an experiment, just to see what it's like taking the same test, but with your emotions possibly diametric to each other.

Would you not find it fun if it weren't for the stress attached to it?

You don't count the questions removed from scoring towards your score. They account for it in the conversion table by reducing the max score you can get. e.g. on a test with 101 questions but one question removed from scoring, you'll only be able to get a 100 pt max. On those tests I draw a line through the question number and bubbles on the scantron so I don't misbubble the next question and don't count it as a point towards my score.34iplaw wrote:(not sure how we score the removed from scoring)

I literally can not redo RC's, like I always pick the same wrong answers that I picked in the first place and I'm glad I realized that because I got a heart attack when I started getting -6's on my drilling on old PT's (Which is my old average for RC's) and then realized after getting a bunch of -2's and -1's on fresh RC drills and on a pt, that I just can't redo old stuff without falling into the same traps I fell into the first time.

Haven't been following along this thread too much, bc anxiety is at an all time fucking high.
When are you guys scheduling in your last PT? I've been getting cluster headaches lately (thinking it's burn out) but trying to push through it. I took a few days off this week and kept it light with some review and drilling.
Thinking of doing a PT on Thursday and Sat/Sunday and having the second one be the last one. Alternatively, was considering taking my last PT on Wednesday of test week and not looking at much LSAT stuff until game day. The last test will definitely be a retake, and I won't be grading it. Thoughts?
xoxo,
Shak.

anyone who uses 7sage's analytics for PTs know of a way to completely erase your data without going one by one for each PT?

Just took PT 48. Holy shit at the curve; it's -8.
LR1: -2
AR: -3 (blanked on an inference ugh)
RC: -0 (o shit waddup first time I aced a fresh RC.)
LR2: -1
Score: 95/172
Bring it on PT80.
Edit: now to make and bake an apple pie for Thanksgiving

Yoooooo its way easier than trying to do it otherwise because it grades your test AND tracks your stuff.Instrumental wrote:Just took PT 48. Holy shit at the curve; it's -8.

TBH - if you do well on a PT between now and then, I would let that be the last one you grade.

Thought you guys might find this funny.
I'm from Canada, and I've seen ads in our local transit advertising Cooley's law school. Basically it's a picture of someone who is a lawyer (the one I remember is some kind of corporate law), and then if I recall correctly, briefly mentions or implies something about him having attended Cooley.
In CANADA. Basically, don't get in to law school in Canada, go to Cooley! We have a graduate that became a lawyer!
