Or overhydrated, went to the bathroom at the beginning of the second section in Oct. Then I made the brilliant decision of chugging my entire water bottle during break and felt the need to go by the end of the fourth section....it was not an ideal day for me.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Oh also being dehydrated. If I hold my pee long enough the urge just goes away. Not healthy, but super handy for the LSAT!McJimJam wrote:Or overhydrated, went to the bathroom at the beginning of the second section in Oct. Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
I am disgusted with my progress thus far. I just did a count and I have done 25 PTs and BR'd them in the last 27days. My first four I think was 161,164,167,168. I have yet to break a 168 since and my last four have been 168,168,163, and a 163 this morning.
My usual schedule has been to wake up, coffee, PT, eat, then BR. Im thinking of taking a break but the exam is right around the corner. Im not as bright as everyone here, I can't take a two day break, come back and PT 10 points higher.

as someone who is also not as bright as everyone here, if I'm reading that right it sounds like simply too many PT's. In 27 days you took 25 PT's?betterLawyerUP wrote:I am disgusted with my progress thus far. I just did a count and I have done 25 PTs and BR'd them in the last 27days. Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Thats correct, although most were 5 sections so I had more than two days off. I just wanted to crack a 170 before I took a break but it seems that isnt happening.flash21 wrote:as someone who is also not as bright as everyone here, if I'm reading that right it sounds like simply too many PT's. I will give this a try in my next rc drillWorthlessDegree wrote:appind wrote:how much time you usually take after this change in reading the passage and in doing the questions?WorthlessDegree wrote:
It definitely adds a minute or two, but you can shave time off by writing shorthand. The reason this helps with time, though, is that you aren't constantly referencing the passage. When you get a question about paragraph 2, you can read 10 words and be like "oh yeah, that one".
Probably 4 reading/annotating the passage, 4 on the questions.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Thanks I am going to try and clear my head man. Ive justified my studying because I havent been working but work is not as taxing as lsat prep. Hopefully a day and a half should help me I am going to go binge watch some much needed TV.McJimJam wrote:I know it seems crazy to lose a day of study this close to the test but I assure you one day of rest won't sink you but burnout most definitely will. Also by the sound of it (25PTs in 27 days) you could use a break, if you really aren't willing right now at least take the full day off and enjoy Thanksgiving. I can't imagine you not being mentally fatigued after that rigorous a schedule.betterLawyerUP wrote:I am disgusted with my progress thus far. Also most would consider 3-4 PTs in a week high, you are averaging above 6. Take a break, lower the rate of PTs, and drill on your off days from PT (not on the day or two break though).
