Anyone starting to feel a little burned out? I've been going through ups and downs this past week and a half. Some days I'm pumped up and doing really well. Other days, most notably yesterday and part of today, I'm feeling mehhhh. I know I could've been so much more productive but the rain over here just made me want to curl up and sleep.

Pretty good showing and I’ll take it. Killed that third game because of the P/L inference. But had my worst showing on RC in a loong time. Also, LG from PT27 was ridiculous. That snakes game. Definitely redoing it.

Yeah, I think this is totally natural. Some days a workout feels great, sometimes it feels like everything is a lot harder. If you are legitimately burned out though, don't automatically combat it with pushing harder.

sleep, nutrition, and exercise are REALLY important to this test. I know it’s emphasized on these boards, but it’s super easy to get lost in all the drilling/pting to forget about the other stuff.

Took 70 again this morning, 9 point increase and my highest score yet. How should I feel about this? I never reviewed it once I received my (shitty) score.

So I took a PT after my ridiculously long break from doing them. Haven't done a blind review yet but my timing is completely falling apart on LG. I missed an entire game which never happens. Someone please reassure me that it's the time off from PTing and not the start of a new fresh hell...

When I take breaks from PT my timing reflects it (last week, I hadn't even started game 4 until the last 5 minutes), but if it's any consolation, it always picks back up.

Thank you for this. I definitely hope so! On the upside my drilling LR and RC paid off big time- I managed a 171 with the skipped game (in fairness I guessed correctly on two of the LG questions I skipped) and a 175 on blind review which is a much needed confidence boost after the 166 disaster last PT. Guess I should drill some games so it doesn't drag me down lol

pretty fucking disappointed in myself today. retook 67, which i did once before oct and scored well on. i expected a 180 due to the high score i got last time, but ended up with a 177. more concerning is the fact that i missed questions i had gotten correct the first time round. counting for score inflation, this probably would've been a mid (low?!) 170s.

lr2: -1
lg: -2 (1 stupid miss on a global accounting q, and one q from zones. FFS, HOW AM I STILL FUCKING UP ON ZONES THE SECOND TIME THROUGH?!)
rc: -1

raw: 98/100, scaled: 177

ARRRRRRGH. i can't believe this test is a -10. that's positively sadistic. this was objectively 100x harder than 70.

I -0ed 67 LG the first time and bombed Zones the 2nd time. Happens.

I'm so jelly that you guys still have fresh PTs! I've done only 3 PTs since Oct and got 3 180s in a row - BECAUSE I REMEMBER THE QUESTIONS! Sometimes it just sucks to have a good memory.


Also, I really, really need motivation. I've been doing 1 PT per week since I got my score.

RC: -6 (the second passage killed my timing (while getting 3 wrong) and it forced me to rush the last passage)
LG: -0

pretty sure i'm finally burning out...was doing PT every two days before today..

got the same score from PT70 as Oct. Maybe I have a long long long way to go to improve...

or should I just sit back and relax...try to keep my cool on test day..

this all depends on what you scored in oct. if i'd gotten 1-2 points more i wouldnt even have given retaking a thought.

yeah hopefully man. I just had the worst day ever since Oct score was out - got the same score retaking PT 70 this morning. so probably won't be a big jump for in December. hopefully that I was just burned out.

But i did apply to a few schools just to test the water. I'm not a T14 material. Scored in low 160s in Oct. but SMU offered me 50% tuition waiver which really surprised me. I'm retaking just for UT/try to get more $$$ from SMU..ain't going nowhere outside of Texas..

Just like other people said it all depends on what you are aiming for and what did you score in Oct. Good luck!

I guess if you increased only 1 or 2 points, it doesn't really matter. It matters if the new score pulls you from 25-50th to 50-75th LSAT range well i assume the gap is normally bigger than 1 or 2 points

You always have better chance getting more $$$ if submit early given the approximate same LSAT score (within 1-2 pts range), but I'm sure if you had a big bump you will get more $$$ for sure.
