that's what I figured. Books are coming in today, and I'm only 3 episodes into house of cards, life's hard man
I can't watch House of Cards because I ABSOLUTELY HATE how Kevin Spacey talks directly to the camera.
But I definitely distract myself with other shows and hobbies so I feel you.

That is really cringeworthy but you get used to it. They also toned it down for season 3.
I know, the masters of RC suggest reading for structure, but how do you learn that?
Look for transition and logical indicator words just like you do in LR. Try to figure out what the purpose of each paragraph is and how the paragraphs relate to each other.

for my not so impressive take 1, i just relied on reading fast and absorbing everything. I know, the masters of RC suggest reading for structure, but how do you learn that? Any reliable guide for RC?
Try Manhattan RC, but beyond that it just takes practice and figuring out what works best for you and then using your own methods repeatedly.
There's no real groundbreaking RC lessons, unfortunately.

Just tried going to two different libraries. Both were closed, one due to electrical issues and the other because it opens at 1 PM ...

Contemplating on whether I should just give up for today and start tomorrow lol.

I think all guides attempt to teach readers how to read for structure.
