No problem. I'm bored of accounting, my test on Friday will be easy, so this makes me feel useful. What I forgot to mention was to do your first ten RC sections untimed. Move to timing when you are consistently -3 or less.

This and check out Noodley's foolproof guide, on page 3,4 or 5 (can't remember) he suggested jotted down reasons for eliminate answer choices and justify every correct answer choices according to the passage. Just wrote down the line. Do it untimed and do it meticulously.

Any thought on JD/MBA joint degree? I am really interested. But it's too expensive. I am considering JD/MPP too.

i thought about JD/MBA too but i heard that MBA is not worth it if you haven't been in the work field for too long. especially if you have a biz undergrad degree...the classes pretty much repeat...

the upside is, you can get into LS first THEN apply for biz school like in your 2nd year since MBA is shorter than LS. and GMAT is a cake compare to LSAT, esp you guys nailed LSAT already...looked through GMAT before and it wasn't hard at all.

Joint degrees like that are only good if you know exactly what you want to do from what I hear. For example, I'm absolutely doing a JD/PhD because I'm hell bent on academia (undergrad or law). If I weren't so sure about that I wouldn't do it.

So if you know for a fact you want public policy go for the JD/MPP. If not, don't.

I'm definitely not qualified enough to comment on that, sorry. My thoughts are to just get in law school, kill it, score an SA in my target market, kill it, get the job, kill it, then retire at 45 and worry about the numerous daughters I'll have at state schools due to karma.

Oh it's not distribution of copyright materials. It's a open-source free software that can help you convert a Kindle file to a PDF file so you can print it out.

Just did my first non-cold PT.

I did PT-20 on Jan 29th. Completely cold. Got 157 (-11 on LR1, -7 on LR2, -4 on LG, -10 on RC).

Did a month of PithyPike's plans (so ALL I have learned is Advanced and Basic Linear games, Weaken/Assumption/Justify/Flaw/Strengthen question types for LR, and drilling 5 RC sections).

Today I did Super Prep A and got a 169. (-1 on LR 1, -1 on LR 2, -5 on RC, -4 on LG).

A few epiphanies:

(1) Super stoked at my score. Once I have 20+ PTs under my belt I should be scoring high enough to get into high T-14 schools with my GPA of 4.00+. And of course even with a 169 I'd have my choice of Canadian law schools.

(2) I thought I sucked at LR but it was my greatest section. As a matter of fact, the second LR section only lost a mark because I ran out of time and missed the last question.

(3) The only mistakes I made on LG were on game types I haven't learned. Scored perfectly on any Linear games I did.

Super stoked!!! Drill on my friends!

I've been doing a very similar approach, with the lone exception being my progress in LR (which I plan to work on the next week) and have yet to really approach a PT. I have been doing plenty of Basic and Advanced drilling with very few grouping games in there...hoping to get a 169 like you soon! Congrats.

On 15 for PT 51. Good so far -7 through 3. Of course RC is next... I've already done this PT once (its the free diagnostic) but this is almost identical to PT 50 in terms of scoring so its probably still somewhat representative.

Just as a tip, I think it's better if you grade your work after finishing everything, instead of during the PT.

Crazyrobin, your post here simply means circular logic.

For example, it is clear that I will score a 180 in June. Many other people will try to score a 180 in June, but they are not me.

Give me a PT#, S#, and Q#, and my advice would be better.

Haha, impatience isn't a bad thing. But jumping to the answers affects your rhythm and timing. PTs are about synthesizing your previous efforts into results. Those results are constrained by time, among other things, the more you check your answers, the more disrupted your PT will be and the less representative.

Also, good work, that's a big step up from PT 50 in terms of raw score. You'll crack 170 again soon, keep at it.
