It's kind of funny just sitting there trying to casually connect it into a conversation since it was brought up pretty recently, like talking about serial - I bet jay could have really used a nice rec letter
Haha that feeling starts going away pretty quickly as the case gets muddled; hold on to it for nowColumbiaBigLaw wrote:SORRY. HAVE YOU TRIED HITTING HER?****
I just started listening to that podcast yesterday. Feeling like Sherlock Holmes all up in this bitch.

lsat q..did any of you have disappointment with your second PT? I know y'all (I'm from NY..but it's so useful.) have been studying much longer than me. I just started in November and waited a month to do my second PT after a cold diagnostic and only went up 5 points. Granted I was in a horribly noisy place both time and had to pee so fricken bad that that probably threw a few questions, but....ugh. I feel like I know so much more now than I did before I started to study that I should have been way up
I personally didn't experience this since I was supplementing my studies with Manhattan LR + Cambridge drilling...but my guess is that if the prep course is your first stint at studying, it will take some time to get used to any company's method.Dirigo wrote:Strange.nlee10 wrote: A lot of people in my BP prep course actually did worse on the 2nd PT due to them getting used to the BP method.
To be fair, I wanted to start a while ago, but LSAT had me in panic mode for the past two months. I did kill three episodes yesterday though!Dirigo wrote:You're not all caught up? That may very well be true.Dirigo wrote: But it's not like you're used to a PC and forced to use a Mac. I think your classmates are just dumbs.
I'm doing the BP movie...so perhaps that explains part of it! I went from 151 to 156. I'm embarrassed so don't hold it against menlee10 wrote:brusselsprouts wrote:SERIAL. my anticipation for tomorrow is insane.

If you don't mind, what kind of scores are we talking about? It's possible that you're still getting used to the methodology of tackling the LSAT. But 5 points is improvement nonetheless and you should be proud of it! A lot of people in my BP prep course actually did worse on the 2nd PT due to them getting used to the BP method.

You shouldnt be embarrassed at all. I never did a cold diagnostic but I can only imagine that it was in the 140s... It took me a shitload of drilling and practice to break through the 150s, 160s, and eventually the 170s. You got this, holmes.brusselsprouts wrote:I'm doing the BP movie...so perhaps that explains part of it! I went from 151 to 156. I started at a 151 diag, been studying too long, I should be at 180 right now but im not so sad... but really it takes time and work to move, I got to 156-59 rather shortly and took what felt like forever to break into 160's dont be embarrassed or anything, just gotta keep pushingbrusselsprouts wrote:I'm doing the BP movie...so perhaps that explains part of it! Couldn't have done it without TLS. I swear people don't know how to Google....TLS comes up all time for LSAT-related Q's...lol.Dirigo wrote: There's no worse state to go to a TTT in.
Good thing you're aiming higher, Nlee.
Not at all. My diagnostic was way lower than yours.brusselsprouts wrote: I'm doing the BP movie...so perhaps that explains part of it! I went from 151 to 156. I'm embarrassed so don't hold it against me
