I have a related question about drilling. I have the Cambridge LG by type bundle and I've gone through most of it. Am I better off going through these games again after I've done them all or should I drill the games from PTs after 38? My fear with going any further is that it could take away from the value of the newer PTs.

Don't compromise the value of the fresh PT's you have at your disposal. That being said, I would go through them again and again and again until I'm comfortable with each game type and finishing games in good time. There's no harm in re-doing games and a lot to be gained.

Do them again, and again. Save 39 - on for PTs.

Just did my first non-cold PT.

I did PT-20 on Jan 29th. Completely cold. Got 157 (-11 on LR1, -7 on LR2, -4 on LG, -10 on RC).

Did a month of PithyPike's plans (so ALL I have learned is Advanced and Basic Linear games, Weaken/Assumption/Justify/Flaw/Strengthen question types for LR, and drilling 5 RC sections).

Today I did Super Prep A and got a 169. (-1 on LR 1, -1 on LR 2, -5 on RC, -4 on LG).

A few epiphanies:

(1) Super stoked at my score. Once I have 20+ PTs under my belt I should be scoring high enough to get into high T-14 schools with my GPA of 4.00+. And of course even with a 169 I'd have my choice of Canadian law schools.

(2) I thought I sucked at LR but it was my greatest section. As a matter of fact, the second LR section only lost a mark because I ran out of time and missed the last question.

(3) The only mistakes I made on LG were on game types I haven't learned. Scored perfectly on any Linear games I did.

Super stoked!!! Drill on my friends!

Nice work. You do know that you could, with some hard work earn scholarships to the top 10 schools in the US?

Yup. Now the decision I have to make is whether I want to practice in the States.

The 2 legal systems are different, I have connections in my Canadian city, and I don't want to get trapped in the BigLaw US system.

We will see though. Keeping the option open.

Yup. Now the decision I have to make is whether I want to practice in the States.

If you're aiming for U of T law then you'll need at least a 163+ I believe. Either way, don't sell yourself short and work hard to get as high a score as you can. Rep Canada the right way

I would kill for that GPA. Stupid freshman year ruined a clean shot at HYS for me but I am still going to do everything I can to find myself in a good position among the T-14.

Also I will be reviewing all of my previous PTs, 7, 39, 40, 41, 44, 50, 51, and Superprep A, from now until Sunday, which is when I'll be taking PT 67, so if anyone wants a second opinion on anything above while I'm reviewing, just PM me and we can jump into the room. And by reviewing I mean, analyzing the answers to a point where I can see the gap in LR, anticipate the answers in everything, and explain why all of the others are incorrect as well if not better than BP and/or Noah. Lots to do, I better get going.

I want to follow DD's PT schedule to review with you guys but I am reluctant to do so because PT 60ish is the latest one and the stake is high I may screw up if I do it in March.

The way I see it, the more mistakes you make, the more you learn. Now if you shouldn't start PTing, then you must be scoring below 165. Your last PT was not below 165, therefore you should start PTing. And by starting PTing you will make mistakes, but you will learn so much by taking them. And what better chance to make mistakes than PT 67? I hope I score in the low 60s. But don't let me push you. On an unrelated note, I'm going to have to take a critical look at my vocabulary and phrases on June 11, hopefully I forget what a contrapositive is, but I doubt it.

i know this might seem really out of scope consider how far ahead you guys are already on this journey to crushing the LSAT. i realized i need some help with RC. RC was not really a topic in my LSAT live course, unfortunately. and i honestly didn't focus too much on it compare to LR and LG. i've done a few here and there. But don't feel too comfortable with this section as well... i didn't get the PS bibles or MLSAT for RC because i wasn't sure how exactly can you teach it besides keep doing practices. i read the voyager's guide on this forum a few times. but want to know if you've tried it and how did it go? if not, how do you guys approach RCs. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Get MRC, read it, then read it again. Then do a section and apply what you've learned. Then skim the book again. Then another section. Make sure that you focus upon what you've learned and applying it.

No problem. I'm bored of accounting, my test on Friday will be easy, so this makes me feel useful. What I forgot to mention was to do your first ten RC sections untimed. Move to timing when you are consistently -3 or less.

This and check out Noodley's foolproof guide, on page 3,4 or 5 (can't remember) he suggested jotted down reasons for eliminate answer choices and justify every correct answer choices according to the passage. Just wrote down the line. Do it untimed and do it meticulously.

you a accounting major? i had to take 2 classes for my major...i totally know what you mean but its boring =.= i hated it...i was so glad i only had to take 2 LOL
