And all I've been doing is explaining my posts because two of the same posters keep misunderstanding everything I write. Then when I explain it and they see they misunderstood, they feel like I looked down on them..

Hahaha they probably feel like you look down on them because typically with your explanation comes some little jab saying that they only didn't understand you because they are dim-witted.

No. Actually I don't come from a wealthy family. You just lack analytical skills to comprehend my ideas. When I say "our" sometimes in this argument, it refers to our (people like us') view of life, our thought that hunkering down and studying is good. Non-wealthy kids can have that view too, just not as likely. And wealth is just the background quality that I use to refer to other qualities like likeliness to do good stuff (i.e. study) and avoid doing bad stuff (i.e. drugs, trafficking women).

You presuppose that all poor people come from shitty households, because the only argument you have made is that poor= dumb. Furthermore, your doucebaggery is evidenced all over this thread: your insatiable appetite for being right, and putting others down demonstrates this quite clearly.

IMHO you have a severe self righteous,Napoleon, complex.

I meant what you thought I meant, that it's still impressive no matter who gets 170+ but a bit more impressive if a poor person does it

You see why I made that mistake though. I'm not going to go back and look, but it felt like when people said they scored 170+ you had a very short reply asking about their SES. Then, when they all said they were high income or whatever, you sort of replied back, "ok, thought so". Sometimes it seemed like you were trying to be funny, other times I couldn't really tell. So, as someone from an upper middle class family who may have scored above 170, I was not sure if I should take offense, lol. Maybe this is why people claim you have aspergers.

I said I was hoping for a 170+ and that my hope was "eww" since it was so high and I don't know if I'll get it.. then I went on to help the guy and tell him what helps me get above 163.. then this one guy thought I was somehow making fun of the guy (I have NO idea how he interpreted it that way because I told the guy what I did to get over 163).. and this guy said he could piss on my score because he gets 170+ like nothing.. then I asked him what ses he came from and he said he played poker and can get enough just from poker in a year to pay for one year of law school....

so then, other ppl, the same ones that are doing it now, decided to team up with the 170+ guy probably since he has the highest score and say I somehow have asbergers and a Nepoleon complex..

Then, I tried explaining myself and it just went over their head. I'd use an analogy and some of them would get lost.. I felt like a parent explaining birds and the bees but the kid was getting too caught up on birds and the bees than what they really represented... Then the more I tried explaining, the more they got lost and banned together and here we are.

I apparently have asbergers, a Napoleon complex, and a bunch more..

You should go to your local YMCA and play a game of pick-up basketball. After you miss a couple of shots, tell your teammates its their fault for not setting you up properly with their passing. If you miss a couple more shots just be like "guys seriously, I can't play properly with these stupid American basketball rules. Honestly, my moves are just way too good for this style of basketball and that's why you guys all think I suck. If you were on my level, you would understand that my 15 foot hook shot that clanked the top of the backboard was actually unreal." They'd probably give you the same reaction you are getting in this thread.

What about HYS? I'm at 75th percentile for GPA for H and Y and more than 75th for S.. My LSAT, if it is 170 and I don't retake for 170+, would be at like 25th percentile of H and S and 20% of Y. They certainly both beat at least some percentage of people who get into HYS.

I would apply to every T-14 school...and once ou get in, leverage scholarship offers to get the best deal.

HYS may be a slight reach b/c they like GPA and LSAT to be high, however, it's anyone's ball game out there... They have been accepting all sorts of people this year.

i have volunteer/ECs that deal with the real court room and representation and school related court stuff. My job is a normal job.. nothin legal about it. An interesting personal statement though so I don't know..

I have a similar GPA and the way I looked at it a 173 is what I need to feel good at snagging one of HYS. I think it's certainly possible with a 3.95+ and a 170-172, but the odds aren't in your favor.
