I didnt take oct sorta due to rc because I missed -9 on 72 a few days before the test. not sure if it's any better now but need to improve it.

That was a rough passage. Usually only have trouble with one but I wasn't too fond of Canadian rights passage either.

how does one even read and answer like 6-7 qs in 4 mins
which psg was 4 mins?

I did 45 rc just yesterday and went -2. Missed the primary purpose question on hippo oath and one on the last passage.

Well you did substantially better than I did. -7. Again.

Wound up going -4 on 44's RC as well. Not a great day so far.

i had taken this rc before more than a year ago so I don't think it's representative. i did 39 rc after that and went -6.

Timing with LG:

I'd say you wanna breeze through at least a game or two in 5/6 minutes, there is usually some games that are pretty easy. I feel like the typical distribution for games is something like, easy, easy, medium or hard. Or easy, easy, medium-easy, super-hard, it's pretty subjective I guess but for me at least I usually go through one or 2 games in 11/12 minutes combined. that way I have plenty of time to tackle the tough time-consuming game. I also don't sink time into certain difficult questions, i.e. rule substitution if it doesn't jump out at me, I'll just return to it later.

Just took PT 20, haven't blind reviewed (I know, I know) because I'm tired

BUT didn't do too bad!

LR 1: -2
RC: -1
LG: -3 WTF this never happens, misread a rule at the beginning
LR2: -1

Total score: 175!

Lol im so jealous. When you are an RC god like yourself or gamerish do you just breeze through passages with full understanding and bubble in answers with certainty, while laughing at the plebs like myself? Even when I get full understanding I can manage to get some questions wrong. I just did the passage about Venetian painting and my God these humanities passages with all these subtle nuances are hard to comprehend quickly.

Thanks, I tend to do that, but somehow I do not get to answer those questions. The rule substitution really screws me up, I cannot get one right....do you work to do as many inferences as you can or do you just diagram out the rules before moving onto the questions?

It really depends on the game rules etc. like if there is a really powerful rule that means only one of 2 things can occur, than I'd make two seperate diagrams showing those two "worlds" but if their are tons of rules, like for example Game 3 from PT 36, I would be spending forever diagramming out all those possibilities. I usually just jot down the rules, make sure I get how they work etc. and then attack the questions.
