bahahah. I have this imagery in my head of this little girl in school sitting on her desk staring at her bully as school is about to end, thinking to herself "i wish you would, bitch", eager to display her newly acquired karate skills.

I think it's a stretch, especially if you live in a different market with biglaw options.
But if you really sell it, anything is possible.

Stop neurotically putting the cart way before the horse though. Relax.

Agreed. I think it is bit much to be thinking about all this. Right now, I think you should focus on just doing well in school, maybe prepping a little for LSAT on the side, and getting wasted on Thirsty Thursdays.

You'll definitely want to spend your 1L summer in the city you want to practice to show that you're serious about their city. But reasonably, yeah. Is it likely? No. But everywhere other than NYC isn't likely.
Sounds about right.

You should def go and have fun snowboarding! You can even make up your own LG when waiting in line to get on the ski lift.

For example- ABCDE are waiting in line for the ski lift. ABC are females while D and E are male. They are all wearing either a blue jacket or a green jacket....

Haha, I'm such an LSAT nerd
LOL. That's all I'm going to think of. I'm going to see a contradiction and tell them "no, that's cannot be true!"

Just do a lot the day before and hit the ground running the day you get back. Maybe the break will be good for your brain.
Yeah I'll probably end up going. It was a shitty snow season here last year so this year is looks promising thus far.

Where do you go? Big Bear? I never did winter sports.
Usually Mtn high or Big Bear. Winters were a lot better back in middle school or so...but this drought and global warming...

I've been lurking on this thread for quiiite some time and finally just bit the bullet and made a username. No one I know understands what it's like to be studying for this test... I think y'all might be a little insane, but at least you definitely get it. I don't do martial arts. Or snowboard. But I'm pretty sassy so maybe we'll be friends

I say y'all all the time and I'm from NY.
Once upon a time in 2nd/3rd/idk grade, our class project was to write a letter to a celebrity. I decided to write to Derek Jeter, a letter which, whilst navigating its rhetorical course, included the word 'y'all.' My teacher told me to change it, because New Yawkers DO NOT use such grammatically incorrect vocabulary, and this inclusion of such profane reveals my unedemucation

(I'm not lying, this happened)

Haha! I don't say "y'all" when I'm speaking but what are you supposed to type online? There's really no way around it that isn't stupid.
I was told "you all" was the correct conjugation. LOL that I actually have a memory of this

ETA: I was jk, that's my DS

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
