174 (-8 curve.. wtf)

Clearly gotta go over this RC in the morning... regressing a little.
-8 curve is really rough.

Getting more wrong on a single RC section isn't necessarily a regression. Maybe it was an especially hard section (or played to your weaknesses).

Yeah and 174>170....so not really a regression. As long as you can kill LR and LG on gameday you have enough cushion for a hard RC

Misread 2 questions on RC... probably should chalk it up to tryptophan and wine... meh

Obv watching ancient aliens is a thanksgiving tradition...

The early PTs have weird convoluted language in LR, are you noticing a major difference in your LR scores on the later PTs? I think they're more straightforward and I end up having more time, which allows me to get more right...

thanks hopefully I can keep it up and make it happen on test day. I've basically just been following Noodley's guide and its been working out. Love the fact that games are just easy now.

Anybody know where I can buy a February test, like Mrizza's 51.5 or a Superprep test, only in PDF form? I don't want to order it and wait until Wednesday for it to come in; I'm in desperate need of a truly fresh PT in order to gauge my performance and I've taken all the modern ones. I bought all my old ones from LSATblog, PDF form.

51.5 is June '07 I think. It's available free here: http://www.lsac.org/jd/pdfs/sampleptjune.pdf

Well -- I just got a 164.

That's quite worrisome. Where's that damned cyanide capsule.

Step 1. Relax
Step 2. Review the test for your mistakes
Step 3. Redo a LR section, LG, or RC passage that you have done before, and scored well on.
Step 4. Assure yourself this was an anomaly, because it was.
Step 5. Confidence restored, destroy your next PT, and December.
Step 6. ????
Step 7. Profit. ($$$, Respect, Tail)

PT 44: In reviewing this test, I can only say "This Test Is A Dick"

RC: -6
LR: -6
LG: 0
LR: -5

First I felt dumb. Then in reviewing the test I am angry because there are about half a dozen questions that are leaps of logic in the correct answer being the correct answer. :x

168 on PT 56 yesterday. Not bad given the fact I had a migraine and then a prescription migraine pill in me.

-2 LG
-2 LR
-6 LR  migraine haze
-3 RC

I'm taking Friday off to prep.

You need to review your wrong answers with the mentality that once you've reviewed that problem, you'll never make the same mistake again. Working through your own mistakes is like building up immunity to a virus. Don't focus on the big picture of "i'm going to do shitty", focus on specific questions and work through them one at a time. Gotta up your skills one brick at a time, stop looking for/expecting a breakthrough and just keep moving forward. You're money!

ETA: If you want to go over more LR on sunday I did all of PT51.5, and I'm going to do 66 tonight. So if you want to do either of those we can review them too.

Feeling pretty good about LR.

I went through 100 Difficulty 4 questions in the Cambridge bundle from 5 different Question types that I struggle the most on, 20 each. I gave myself 1:30 for each question, simulating roughly how much time I would spend on a difficult LR question on a PT. I went 96/100.

I really don't see how I went -7 on LR in PT 54 yesterday... very frustrating.
