I was in DC.

I kind of got to this point where I didn't have an option other than quitting, honestly. Like, I definitely wanted to quit, but my body just physically couldn't handle it eventually. I fractured my spine (at the school, ha!) and took two weeks off and when I went back I was supposed to get an assistant. They didn't rovide one, though, which meant that I was still restraining kids. I kept having to take a day off, because I'd fuck my back up from restraining this one kid in particular--he had an ED and when he went into crisis it was like he was fucking Hulk. There was a lot of other stuff, too, but I know if it weren't for my back I could have stayed. Kind of sucks, but I'm a lot happier now! Ha.

The school I was is actually shutting down. TFA pulled out all of their CMs the end of last year becuase they knew it was inevitable. It was basically regarded as the worst charter in DC :lol: Fun times.

ETA: I write this kind of stuff and then realize I'm only explaining it because I'm still trying to convince myself that it was okay that I quit. Ugh.
Mist please know it's 100000% okay you left a program that was unsafe and unfair to you. That is not something you should ever need to convince yourself of.
