Echo^ that, the more you take the practice exams the more you realize that luck plays a big role in hitting the top of your scoring range. The passages/games chosen along with the distribution of LR question types can cause some decent size swings in either direction. I just hope the December exam plays to my strengths and not my weaknesses.dj9i27 wrote:yeah you'll be good man, the longer I'm in this game the more I realize that they're all pretty much the same.Mikey wrote:Yeah I guess. jobs kind of interfere with studying but school did more imo
please God December be an abnormally easy exam
Although one is not scored, I pray there are not 2 reading sections. 2 LG sections would be an early Christmas present as far as I am concerned.

My PTs were all over the place. Most of my PTs were low 160's though. My highest PT was a 168 back when I was studying for June but it was literal luck because of RCSunDevil14 wrote:What were you scoring on your PT's Mikey? Just curious.Mikey wrote:Yeah I guess. I am taking the plunge today. I am doing two 4 section tests in one sitting. First 4 sections back to back followed by a 15 minute break, and then proceeding to due the next 4 in a row.
I am curious which PT you guys think I should do first.
-PT 72: I did this test roughly 2 months ago, right before the September Exam which I decided to sit out because I was not ready. I probably wont remember much about the passages, games, and questions.
-PT 73: Virgin clean test.

3LR would be the dream. I had RC-LR-RC-LG-LR (in that order) last time and it was probably the worst possible combo/order for my skills. Hoping for a LR-RC-LR-LR-LG order this go around.SunDevil14 wrote:Echo^ that, the more you take the practice exams the more you realize that luck plays a big role in hitting the top of your scoring range. Man I just want a double games section for once. I got LR first time and LR the second. I want LG to happen for me.theboringest wrote:3LR would be the dream. I'll have only taken 5 timed preptests in total before game day, yet I've been doing a timed section of RC/LG nearly every day. I'll be good.

Printed out my admission ticket. Got a -1 on the old rc section I did. (Would have aced it, but I realized I needed to switch an answer just as time ran out).
Then I went for a skate session, but my car wouldn't start. Had to jump my week old car battery. I have access to a car my grandparents have if need be, but I don't want that in the back of my mind on test day so I'm at the shop rn.

Good job, Mikey! $200 will be a drop in the bucket when you're at NYU with a full scholly

Timing didn't work out. Not the end of the world, as some of this test content was vaguely familiar...possible some was supplemental sections. Going to find a totally fresh PT and do the another after it tomorrow or Sunday.SunDevil14 wrote:I've done it in the past, you are in for a long day haha. For anyone taking 7Sage,
Do y'all move a little faster than the projected schedule? I'm curious because I don't plan on taking the LSAT for awhile (June/Sept) but 7Sage's projected schedule moves a bit slow. I feel like I'm not learning enough per week to say I actually studied if you know what I mean.

Yeah, same timeline and same issue. I just moved ahead whenever I finished my lessons for the week. I also like to use extra time to drill games or whatever I'm working on that week.
