I am also a lurker and a very nervous LSAT test taker. I made a huge technical error in the LR section with the throwback question. Outside of that I did very well. I am trying to decide if I should cancel and I cannot get a hold of my instructor. Thoughts?

Can you be a bit more specific? Do you plan on actually applying this cycle?

Nvm she must be referring to the entire section (RC fail on my part). Someone might want to let her know the section with what I assume she's referring to as the "throwback question" (two-question stim) was experimental.

That makes a lot more sense. Surprised she didn't know it was a fake by now though.

blegh youre doing a pretty good job of guilting me into working on my ps. my actual apps are filled out, lors are in, etc... the only stuff im missing is the stuff that i actively have to write, lol. which schools have you submitted?

How long did it take you to fill out apps? How many did you fill out?

BU and BC. I've also emailed some schools without explicit policies listed on their admissions sites about whether they could consider solely my Oct score or if they'd have to hold the application until December scores come out. For the record, Penn said they would consider the Oct score solely unless otherwise stated. BC said essentially the same. Cornell said they hold it unless otherwise stated. For the schools with explicit policies that I looked at, at UVA they consider your previous scores and not the future one unless otherwise stated. And BU states they automatically hold the application without considering applicant preference.

Yes, that is what I am referring to. I didn't want to get too specific. I have been reading for a bit and that being the experimental seems to be the consensus. How do we know it was an experimental though?

People without exp LR didn't have it, and I had 3 LR and didn't have it.

Question about the app process. So I've been waning between applying EDII to Cornell or not, but obviously that is also dependent on my LSAT score. The deadline is Jan. 6th which may or may not be pretty soon after the LSAT. Would it be worth it to apply now or should I just wait til I get my LSAT. I'm just worried that the LSAT could come out later, or day of, and then I have a very quick turnaround to make this decision.
