Damn never gotten to this point, my previous best was 175 too. I guess that goes to show the top level is partially due to luck.
Bruh you're like Neo in the hallway scene.
Naw I think that honor goes to the dude who can do two or sections in 40 minutes and only misses like a point

I'm debating doing a dual PT tomorrow... rock like a four section - 15 minute break - four section.

I did that Sunday, it takes a toll on you but if you are like me by PT 2 you'll be warmed up and do better lol.
I feel like I'm feeling better at RC. I am missing far fewer on a per passage basis and most errors are 'duh' type things like question stem issues (i.e. misreading weaken vs strengthen type deal) which, obviously I must look out for, but aren't as concerning to me as like ' WTF IS WRONG WITH MY CHOICE '

Same with RC, earlier today I did a few passages and missed the gimmie questions which I immediately contemplated my life choices but towards the end of it I was going -2/3 again.

The latter group of questions I don't know either, I think that is the so called "Luck" that breaks us into high scores.
I feel like we're all pretty much in the same boat. I've consistently been getting -2 to -3 in RC and they're mostly just me reading a question stem too fast.

I was averaging a 169 before September and got a 164, but I feel much more consistent this time around. Plus, I imagine test day nerves won't be as rough.

Well, my last PT was -6 on RC, but -4 of that was from one passage somehow... September had me significantly under perform too... like, I did really well, but under where I should have... the one thing that was consistent was getting most of my points off in RC.

(last PT was PT 42... -2 between both LRs and LG IIRC, and -6 on RC...lols)

Anyone here take supplements like acetyl carnitine or ginko balboa? Supposedly they help with cognitive function, but I've never tried then and wanted to know if it'd be worth buying. Lots of people also say these supplements are a complete waste of $

Break today, and then I think 77 and 43 tomorrow. Only this week and next for PT's. Game day is coming up quick.

Officially withdrew. I'd rather lose these 200 bucks than thousands of potential scholly money.

I have a background in supplements I used to do some body build/modeling in addition to athletics and working at GNC. When it comes to the two listed above, you are not going to experience a significant increase in mental focus and stamina. They may give you a slight boost. Most of the stuff that is going to give you great focus and mental stamina is prescribed.

Caffeine 200 mg, Ephedrine 25mg, 81mg aspirin (aspirin not necessary but recommended). Is a great combination and was extremely popular in the 90's and 00's. A lot of athletes took it not only for weight-loos but increased endurance, energy, stamina, and focus. It went out of vogue because people in the consumer market started abusing it and experiencing harsh side effects.

You could buy all the components you need at your local pharmacy, though ephedrine is regulated now so it is keep behind the counter and you will have to ask a pharmacist (a prescription is not required but you will have to sign a digital form since a lot of tweakers were using the stuff to make meth). I'd take that once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Alternatively, you may want to look into adrafinil, which you would most likely need to purchase online. Adrifinil is legal, and essentially it converts into Modafinil (one of the prescribed one's mentioned above) once it enters the body. Adrafinil will not give you intense focus but will boost your mental stamina and fight of the effects of fatigue.

Both of the options I mentioned above are going to be on the higher end of the spectrum of the things that you can purchase legally, so I'd exercise caution and do your research.

looks like I'm off to kickstarter
serious tho are you thinking June or September?
Really depends on the improvements I make. I'm taking 6 classes next semester so I probs won't have much time to focus on the LSAT but in gonna try to and if I'm successful then I'll take in June. If not sept/oct

i would take September, you'll have ample time throughout next semester to briefly review and the entire summer plus some.
Yeah that's what I was thinking. But if I actually do have time to get good LSAT time in the ought the semester, and I'm consistently PTing at a very good score then I might pull the trigger. The pros would be that I get it over with, I'll have the summer to start looking for a job earlier than if I took in sept, and I would be able to focus on other app factors throughout the summer without stressing about the rest. Obviously I could do these things if I took in sept but it's just a thought.

Yeah I guess. I'm just basing it off of the fact that with 5 classes, I still manage to get a good amount of LSAT prep in. Most likely will be sept tho
