I had the same setup. My LG2 was experimental. It included rows of trees, salary bonuses' and slots for advertising.sighsigh wrote:I had an LG game about environmental disasters either during or after the king/emperor's reign. Can somebody with no LR exp give a hint for a topic of one of the questions from the 25Q section?

I had LG1-LR-LG2-RC-LR. That third game was a bitch and that 2nd LR was pretty damn hard but i feel more confident than the other times I tested.

This test had 101q's, so let's hope for at least a -12 curve!

Re: December 2013 LSAT waiting thread
I got the experimental LG, There was one question in what I am guessing was the experimental was like nothing I have seen. I still don't know how to categorize it. It wasn't hard at all, just different. I am guessing the experimental was the one I finished ten minutes early and the hard one was real going by what other people said. The first two were fine, but the last two took me forever to trudge through.
First LR I would be surprised if I got more than one wrong, the second one gave me a lot more trouble (it was also the last section).
I never would have thought all my hours of online video games would be relevant to a RC passage... Mirrors absolutely sucked to read, but the questions seemed pretty basic except for when they weren't, then they sucked.
I am hoping for a generous curve. Maybe all of the typically low scorers waited until December this year? And then there is us sitting pretty in the one percent? Eh? Yeah probably not.

Hopefully that guy who made the thread about the bane mask scared some people into doing worse enough to effect the overall scale. All Star wrote:This test had 101q's, so let's hope for at least a -12 curve!

With that said.... The LR sections were harder and "more different" than anything I've ever seen before (I felt the same after Oct exam), .
What do you mean by it was more different?
I'm trying to figure out which of my LRs was exp.
I didn't notice any of them different..
I think I agree with this. Especially about the red herrings. I didnt have the LR experimental, but I know I circled like 8 LR questions in all, which I found more time consuming and/or I wasnt completely percent sure of my answer, and that a bunch of the answer choices were way too easy to eliminate for these questions. I also remember feeling that there was TOO MUCH DETAIL.Glaucon wrote:

I had LG-LR-RC / RC-LR
Any idea which RC was experimental? My first one had one on judges that was really hard for me to get through. I'm hoping that one was experimental. I remember the other topics, but I can't remember which section they were in!

Was the logic game with movies the real one? I remember sail and Hancock as movie titles?

LG1(real): Fairly easy, ran out of time because of timing on game 2 and 3, did last 2 questions of section quickly. Probably -3 at worst unless I screwed something up terribly.
LR1: Finished with 3-5 minutes to spare. Looked over 3-4 I had circled and felt good about all answers.
LG2(exp): Kicked my ass, probably went -8
RC: Felt good, liked most of the passages, hoping -3 but with RC it's harder to anticipate.
LR2: Finished in the nick of time, guessed on the third to last question. Found a few from 15-25 tough, circled probably 4-5 of them thinking I was unsure.
Overall, who knows, that's the lsat for you.

Re: December 2013 LSAT waiting thread
Guy next to me had tourrette's, his ticks were going off the entire 5 sections and then ceased during the writing sample. I got used to it after a little while and was surprised by how well I handled it considering how I reacted to distractions during October. I'm not sure if I did as well as I wanted, but I don't feel all traumatized like I did after the first time.

Re: December 2013 LSAT waiting thread
I had LR LG LR LR RC.
Has been determined if the second LR was the experimental? It was the hardest section for me by far.
LG and RC were not that bad and I think overall LR was standard. I would not expect a high curve -10/-11 at most is likely.

One of the LRs (25 questions), had its most difficult questions in the first 17, which is odd. That section had the question about chocolate and vanilla.

LR2 slaughtered me. I ran out of time.
LG was more difficult than October.
RC real was also more difficult.
Off to drink my sorrows away. Not feeling great about this at all...but whatever, I've already landed a T20 acceptance and anticipate at least one T10 acceptance even with my first score.
FUCK YOU LSAT!!!

I agree with both of these. TOO MUCH DETAIL. I would eliminate 3 quickly and then I'd be staring at 2 that could each definitely be correct depending on how you define a word. I have a feeling I'll be looking at the correct answers and still not know why one is right and one is wrong.I think I agree with this. Especially about the red herrings.
