153 for entirely average/mediocre insult. also, lsat doesn't test spelling, obviously.

To be fair, that's really a pretty subpar show so I'm not too choked up about it

49 -- 04/30/11 ----- LR: -3/5 ; RC: -1 ; LG: -2 ------------ 92/172

This was a 5 section PT -- easing myself back into those now that I won't be taking any PTs after work. I used the LG section from PT 46 and got -1.

Timing--I actually ran out of time in the 30 min for LR section 1, and I gave myself an extra 3 minutes. LG I had 3 min left, RC about 1 min, and the last LR about 5.5 minutes (all out of 30 min sections). The breakdown was
1) LG (-2)
2) LR (-3)
3) RC (-1)
4) Exp LG (-1)
5) LR (-5)

I am REALLY LSKFJWEKLFJWE UGH FRUSTRATED by my LR score this time. If I had performed normally, I would definitely have gotten above a 175...but nope. Sighhh. A lot (all) of the questions I missed, I had been choosing between TCR and chose wrong in the end.

Very, very frustrating. Boooo. But I AM glad the curve was forgiving, so I still scored above a 170. Also, my RC was pretty good this time! I think maybe this marks the shift into easier RC/harder LR tests? We'll see. The LG mistakes were both stupid mistakes (forgot a rule & mis-circled an answer).

Now off to go drink away my upset-ness XD

...you're getting 172 with 30 minute sections? You, sir, are gonna be one happy camper around the end of June.

Don't the RC get more difficult as you transition into the newer tests?

Maybe I'm just weird.

Everything gets harder the later you get but the curves become more generous (with the exception of LR I guess but even that gets harder)

I thought RC didnt get harder until the late 50s? I'm not sure though...either way, generous curves are what saved me. I reeeeaaallly hope my LR average doesn't drop :\

You're right. I believe games get easy from 50-55 and you have -9 curves for a while. 55-61 = hard(er) RC, games like the 30's, and harder than average LR.

50 -- 05/04/11 ----- LR: -1/2 ; RC: -4 ; LG: -0 ------------ 93/173

and

51 -- 05/08/11 ----- LR: -2/2 ; RC: -4 ; LG: -0 ------------ 91/172

I seem to be stuck in this weird fucking spot of 170-173. :? I am not pleased with this. If I experience any dips from my PT average on the day of, I could end up below 170 again, in which case I'd have to commit seppuku....and I really don't want to commit seppuku.

My clear weakness is RC, but I just CAN'T SEEM TO FUCKING CHANGE MY SCORE. In PT 50, i missed 3 questions from the same passage, and in PT 51, they were all over the lace. I just don't know what to do. I think maybe I'll try to pick up the Manhattan RC guide, or Atlas RC, or whatever, at Borders if I can after work tomorrow. I seem to be doing decently on LG now with the -0s, and LR is sorta/kinda consistent :\ It's just that damn RC!!!! Though if I could get down to -0 on a LR, that'd be nice. I just don't know what to do.

53 -- 05/08/11 ----- LR: -1/2 ; RC: -4 ; LG: -0 ------------ 93/174 ----- 5 sect @ 1. Waiting to get my RC guide!

Soooo not much change in terms of my scores. -0 LG as usual, a -3 total on both LR sections, a -4 on RC. I'm eagerly awaiting my Manhattan RC guide in the hopes that I can pound it out in the next week and see at least a liiiittle improvement on RC.

Definitely feeling those nerves! >_< One thing I'm glad about from today is that I woke up early, worked out, showered, ate something, listened to music...generally got a chance to set a little bit of a schedule. Hopefully I can maintain this schedule format until the day of the test!! (:

53 -- 05/14/11 ----- LR: -3/3 ; RC: -4 ; LG: -0 ------------ 91/170 ----- Sigh. Guessed right on @ least 2 RC qs...so kinda lucky

Could have been worse, I guess. This time around, the LR is what dragged my score down. I'm happy that I can be consistent with LG at least, but I really want to stop slipping below -2 for LR. Stiiiilll waiting on my Manhattan RC Guide. Should be here by this Wednesday, then I can power through it in the next week or so.

Haven't taken a close look at the questions I missed yet, but will update with that information.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
