If LR eased up and games got slightly harder, I would feel confident getting 72+ out of 75 or 76. As for RC, can we just pretend it doesn't exist?melodygreenleaf wrote:Pretty much the same here. except maybe LR being the one that eases up instead of RC because it's half the test, but it's a toss up.vicpin5190 wrote:I'd much rather LR stays the same, LG gets a little harder, and RC eases up than the opposites on each.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
I have such a love hate with RC. On PTs earlier than about 50 i have like zero issue going -0/-1. I'm usually more along -4/-5 on more recent RCs but its really a toss up time to time.Thorcogan wrote:If LR eased up and games got slightly harder, I would feel confident getting 72+ out of 75 or 76. I am also really surprised by the sheer number of people with Yale level GPAs (more than 1/3 of all poll responses!)

What are Yale level softs? Not sure if I'm allowed to do this here, but maybe you guys have a better idea about what my softs are like. I have interned for an nba team, for a law firm, and now work at a major law firm. Also I worked at my local basketball league for 5 years and was appointed an apprentice board member this year. Is that Yale level? Michcigan level? UCLA?Otunga wrote:But not Yale level softsmelodygreenleaf wrote:+1.ManoftheHour wrote:Wow. According to the poll, my GPA is TTT.

Riddled basins was actually a lot of fun for me because of my past short obsession with chaos theory and anything even tangentially related. But Dutch agriculture was just ???bee wrote:mehhhh. my worst fear is riddled basins: the return. or 4 above average difficulty passages because of time concerns (along the lines of pt 65, my worst ever rc performance).

Thank you. I'd much rather you were blunt than you get my hopes up. I didn't think those were Yale level btw, though I did think they were above average. Ah well, just another area where I'm right with the pack lol.bee wrote:to be blunt, those are very, very average softs. yale level softs: fulbright, rhodes, marshall, nyt bestseller, prestigious academic publications, working at the white house, discovering the cure for the common cold, etc.Thorcogan wrote:What are Yale level softs? I feel like the things they list are more diverse/unique than exceptional? I mean juggler, chemist, Broadway production assistant, "30 Rock" intern, documentary filmmaker are all very average softs imo. And it seems like I should include my black belt in my resume again considering they included it in the list every single year.bee wrote:and because im a masochist, here are the entering profiles for a few previous classes:

Re: December 2013 Retakers
I was actually thinking the same thing, which is why I I'm thinking (and have been for a while) that I should focus on my board member soft over the working in law firms. I mean a ton of applicants I'm sure have worked in law. I also think a lot of it has to do with how you describe your softs. One experience at a law firm =\= someone else's experience.melodygreenleaf wrote:I feel like the things they list are more diverse/unique than exceptional? We have digressed pretty far from the LSAT, and it is partly my fault, so I'll try and get us back.
Is there another review for PT 70 happening?
