First off, congratulations to all of you who got what you desired!

I have the e-mail, but I don't want to open it yet. I don't think I did well. The reason I haven't opened it is because I want to plan my day out first so that if it's really bad, I still have my day planned. If I just opened it, it could potentially put me into a fetal position and I wouldn't finish my apps. I also want to think about what to tell family if I can't go to law school this coming year. It's almost a situation where I can't wait until next year, but life will work something out for me if I work hard and really want it to.

After I post my score (or at least, my increase/decrease from PTs), any advice would be great, especially if it's low. I'm trying not to get false hope from the successes I have been seeing posted so far. because I was violated by the LG. There wasn't the typical usual easy sequencing game and after spending so much time studying, all the games seemed foreign to me. The sequencing game was really hard. I guessed on like 13 questions. I also got RC last, which I don't wish on anyone.

Okay, I'm going to get my day planned. Then pray. Then open it and I'll let everyone know.

I did worse than I had even considered possible. I am going to get a hand score.

What do you mean by "I am going to get a hand score"? My Feb 6 score is lower than I ever even considered possible.. and I don't think this is possible. Even on my worst PTs I was still 5 points higher than this. There has to be some kind of error...PLEASE

You can get your test hand scored if you think there was a scantron error (ie. you had a few stray marks/heavy eraser marks that you think may have screwed up your score).

does anyone know if this has ever resulted in a change in someone's score? I want to make sure this isn't just provided by LSAC to make people feel better/cover their as-es/avoid complaints - and that it isn't just a huge waste of money.

does anyone know now which LG section was experimental?

FML. Got a 156 in December, now a 157 for February. Been testing over 165 on PT's. WTF?!!? Guess I am most likely going to wait till next cycle and take it again in June.

Did any one take the make up exam today FEb 27. I just had it and had the one with LG as the experimental. If anyone had this exam do you know which one was the experimental?

I received my score around 3:45pm, but it was sent around 1:45pm. Don't know what the delay was.

Also, I took it last weekend at College Park, MD, so I cannot complain at all. I only had to wait a week for my horrible score.

You'll probably need to call on Monday. I know that sucks.
When did you take the test? Did you write your candidate statement thing in cursive? Have you checked your mailbox to make sure you have not missed anything from LSAC in the past week?
If LSAC say they need anything from you ask if you can fax it to make things quicker.

Ok, a question: I'm applying this cycle. I jumped up 9 points from my last LSAT (Dec 09) and want to make sure the law schools get my new score in time. Do I call them? How can I make sure this works out?

Should I explain why I got a crappy score the first time or does that just draw attention to things?

What do you consider horrible? I bet I have most people on this board beat. At least I'm done with school now so I can really focus on the June LSAT. I wonder with no preperation on this exam how high I can realistically raise my score for June.

LSAC will automatically send them the score on Monday, if they haven't sent them today.

You should consider sending an LSAT addendum explaining why the new LSAT score better reflects your abilities. Some schools will give you another look, some won't, but it definitely cannot hurt.

I honestly didn't think I did THAT well as the LG section threw me a bit, or so I thought.

Wow, I hope this is real. Congrats, that is great and I am sure that studying persistance will help you in school. That gives me hope because I am in the same boat, this was my first time, and my studying, preplanned, because I knew I was in trouble, starts Monday. Enjoy the weekend!
