6'2 210lb, and I love the song stitches by that 15 year old looking kid. I also love Taylor Swift. Whatever.

You should have been in my testing center - there was a woman who was, in my opinion, overly concerned about being the "old one" in her law school class, since everyone remembers the "old one." You could have comforted her.Irican wrote:I will be 37 by the time I start my 1L.
She was older than you, maybe 39? But that doesn't seem to old to me.
Then again I'm 20, so if you had a wild and crazy high school year you could technically be my parent.

Here you go, predict the USNWR rankings while you await grey day (and win a trip or other things)

Apologies to the grand winner in advance for having to hang with me for 24 straight hours. Ouch.

Spivey, while you're on here...any little birdies give you any kind of warnings about release day recently?

So I didn't care for The Witch at all. It's seems like the kind of movie to watch if you don't like to watch movies.

Basically, I would rather have seen literally any other movie than The Witch.

Spivey, you were in my dream last night! We were posing for pictures at a tour of my facility (I don't have a facility). I also had a Lamborghini Aventador and two other cool cars. (I drive a Toyota). Good dream overall, except I had the feeling that I was shining on the outside but kinda empty on the inside.

just my 2cents
No i agree.
When i said that people dont give a fuck about those not in their immediate group, i mean that they are happy to take advantage of them. I never said they were neutral about it.
Humans are always in an us vs. them mindset, and the most obvious way to otherize people is by breaking down groups by color/language/etc.

Aahhh...so a high LSAT may not necessarily make me happy in the long run, and a low score won't preclude my long term happiness either

Spivey was very cool in the dream though.

Yeah no worries, it was mostly me just ranting at no one in particular. It's sad and frustrating.Helioze wrote:wellitsover wrote:While I get the appeal to human nature in that way (that it's natural to protect family and friends first), I think it's also true that policies shape the ways in which people perceive others (for instance, has race played so much in any other historical era than in the last few hundred years when race-based slavery and discrimination became the norm?).
